While reviewing a truss submittal, I realized it would be much easier if we could use a dimension string following the same format as the truss drawings. Truss drawings use a three-part format that translates to feet-inches-16th of an inch (see below example). I would love to be able to use this format when calibrating the…
When I create a polygon cutout within an area and then try to measure a sub-area within this cutout, a bucket fill function is activated, filling the entire area. Is there a way to disable this fill function so that I can manually define the edges of the area measurement?
Could there be a tool which could split area & length measurements along a line or polyline in a single action? In the below example i would like to split/separate my Road area measurement, as well as the linier measure for kerbs along the red line to allow me to allocate the markups into separate spaces/layers etc? I…
Hello, Please see attached. I am doing a rebar takeoff. I have a footing that is not squared. I have used multiply option to multiply my rebar lines spaced equally. however as you can see I have to adjust each line into the footing shape. Can you please create an option that I can trim all lines at the direction i want at…
Hello everyone, I am trying to see if I can change the default metric area measurement label on the system from 'sq m' to a familiar 'm2' label here in the UK. All the instructions, videos online, help searches are silent on the matter. Also been in touch with Tech Support and they were unable to help and suggested I reach…
When I bring in a screenshot, it is not to scale, and I need to rotate it and resize to try match the pdf content. For example, sometimes I want to take an aerial screenshot and overlay it over my pdf plans. To make sure it aligns I need to scale it correctly, and rotate it correctly. It would be very handy if I could…
So it would be really awesome if it would tell you the distance from the last count you placed. For example… I estimate fire sprinkler heads. I use the count function for my head placement, to get the total number of heads required for a project. There are NFPA codes though that state how for apart or close a head is…
Hello, we're working on adding custom tools with our own labeling for use in Revu. Count measurements have been very easy to integrate, but is it possible to add the Polylength tool with custom labels for the columns to the Tool Chest? When I attempt to add them like the count measurements, it "bakes in" whatever I draw…
I have my scaling precision set to 1, however I noticed that in the legend the totals are not adding up correctly. It seems like Bluebeam is adding the actual "precise" measurements regardless of what is displayed, and the precision setting being set to 1, and then rounding up that new total (See attached screenshot, total…
I'm looking to automate a custom column (or columns) by grouping 2-4 dimensions, and then having the total show up in the 'width' column (figured this part out) but having the individual dimensions separately show up in another column. ie, the example here is 4 dimensions, they are grouped together with a total width of…
