Hi everyone! This month is all about momentum. Being almost at the halway point of 2026, it’s a great time to look at how our workflows are evolving, especially the areas where things are getting faster and more efficient. This challenge, Faster Than Before, is focused on the improvements you’ve made over time. Whether…
Hello, I want automatically identify rooms in a PDF (e.g., with its defining points and their relative coordinates in the PDF). I want to use that information to assign e.g, pins to rooms where they are placed on the PDF. Is this somehow possible/ will it be possible in BlueBeam Max ? Thanks a lot in advance for any…
Hi All, I am trying to get Bluebeam to convert DWG's to PDF within itself. I have done everything suggested by support yet i cannot get any Autocad 2027 Products to show up in Plug-ins under Administrator. When I do try to use OCR or convert to PDF with Bluebeam i get a Valid License is needed. I have that license but how…
Hi Bluebeam. I'm very happy that the program now allows leaders to be attached to more than one side of a callout. Now if the program would please stop automatically relocating my leader connection point every time I adjust a callout, that would be really great. It's very inefficient to have to reposition a leader line…
Hi Bluebeam Community, I am exploring Bluebeam Max for a construction estimation workflow and wanted to understand its capabilities around automated quantity takeoff from structural drawings. My main use case is slab area extraction from structural PDF drawings. For example, if a structural drawing contains different slab…
Can you create a button to mirror the PDF and it's not the same as rotating.
One of the most tedious things to do is to create page labels every time. They are in the same place on the sheet… Unless im unaware of this. Seems like a simple batch script could be setup to allow this. Sheet Number - Sheet Name.
I created a couple of custom annotative scale tools, these are mostly done using snipped items. I save the tool set and close BB normally but when I reopen BB some of the tools I have created graphically disappear and when selected create a block that is locked. I have tried this multiple times and it keeps failing is…
When you change the font size, a callout or text box should resize to a logical size. As an example: I have the word 'testing' in a text box with 10 point Helvetica font. The fitted size is 0.4369" width x 0.1667" height. When I change it to 30 point Helvetica in properties, it resizes to a box of 0.3753" width and 1.8819"…
Prior to the implementation of Studio Project Search in version 21.7, the search field worked well as a quick way to filter a large number of files in a folder and drill down to a file you are looking for instead of dragging the list up and down. Now a search looks at all the folders in a project. I'd like to see a setting…
I'm in Canada using Revu 21.9, and the current handling of units for page size and measurement display is confusing. The bottom-right page size display remains in metric (mm) while measurement tools and workflows are often set to imperial. There is no clear setting to control this behaviour. In Canada it is common for some…
Good morning, I'm trying to provide a class at the collegiate level for new students seeking their Florida Fire Inspector 1; they take plan review as one of their required courses. I am trying to implement a course of instruction for them using Bluebeam as part of the course. Any suggestions
If you draw a Polygon, Ellipse, or Rectangle you should be able to change that to an area calculator. If you could just click a checkbox in Properties to go back and forth, that would be very convenient. Likewise, there should be a way to go from a Line or Polyline to a Polylength.
Just this morning when I try to draw a rectangle it fills in before I can size it. Then the sizing icons are well within the rectangle and I can't size it small enough. I use this for hiding parts of a drawing and it is now unusable. Is anyone else experiencing this?
The round arrowhead of the Arrow subject should be able to be hollow, just as it can be in the Callout arrowhead.
My work team are wanting to use Revu for markups and collaborations, however not in the traditional engineering sense. The markups/diagrams are to show signage (as it appears in real-life) on building maps/plans. I would like to know how to (if possible) to use an Image-based icon in the 'tool set', in place of the…
I have created several custom tool sets with custom tools. All tool sets are visible in all profiles. I have been noticing that after I save a tool and save the profile that when I switch to another profile the tool I just saved changes and does not hold to the same properties or likeness. For example I have a circle with…
been getting a "file download error" on iCloud App. it wasn't an issue before but now some of the previous sessions is now not loading. it loads on desktop but not on the app. any idea what's causing the issue?
My issue is a question/idea but is it currently possible to save/reuse selected Page Regions made when creating new Thumbnail Page Labels or in Bookmarks. We use the Page Labels/Bookmarks 'Page Region' feature to extract out drawing title block information, but I have to redo the same region selections for each new package…
BB crashed and I had added/edited dozens of tools and when I logged back in many of the toolsets were not showing in my profile or in the toolset list (so not hidden). Any ideas? And when I tried importing it said they already existed….
Hi everyone, In light of the new ADA Title II regulations, many state and local governments — and the vendors who work with them — need their digital documents to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA by April 24, 2026 (or 2027 for smaller jurisdictions). This includes PDFs that end up on public websites or portals. I’m trying to…
