We've been busy this first half of 2026. This roundup covers the biggest releases across Revu, Studio, Bluebeam Web, mobile, and our Developer Portal. From AI-powered search and markup editing to a brand-new way to build documents right in your browser, to security controls that give admins the final word. 🚀 Bluebeam Max…
Please enable the ability to toggle the markup list to only show what is on the current page. For those that want to work through the markup list in lieu of interacting with markup on the page, filtering the list to only show what is on the page will make navigating easier.
Anyone know where the setting lives for the bottom status bar items? My Page Scale and Page Size disappeared from my toolbar out of nowhere. Restarted Bluebeam and they came back, but now they're showing up twice. Once in the Navigation Bar Right, and again directly underneath it in what I'm guessing is the status bar. I…
Hi, Is it possible to create Bluebeam Spaces from Rooms that are located in a linked Revit model? Our workflow consists of a separate MEP model with the architectural model linked into it. All Rooms are created in the architectural model. In our MEP views, the Rooms from the linked architectural model are visible and can…
As the title suggests I have been using Bluebeam for about a year. I use it for 6+ hours a day 6 days a week. For the most part its doing exactly what I want. My issue isn't that it doesn't do what i want as much as Im hoping there is an easier way to do certain things. Is there a way to create a separate scale for a…
Anyone else noticing the change to the pen tool? The pen tool behavior now simplifies the lines instead of following exactly what is drawn, and is now changing some of my custom tools that were created with the pen tool. It is most noticeable at smaller scales. Another weird downgrade from Bluebeam that I can't understand.…
When editing page label names - BB dings everytime you "tab" to the next sheet. It may just be me, but this ding gets in my skin like a bot fly larvae. Get rid of the incessant dinging it's not needed. While "tabbing" to the next page - bluebeam stays on the last page visited in the document window. If you tab to the next…
Please provide an option when copying text from pdf to not include paragraph returns at end of each line into the copied text. This is ridiculous, everyone knows just because the text ends at the right side of the page that does not mean there should be a hard return - the text just continues on the next line. Removing all…
In the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog box, add an option to list all the user-defined shortcuts. Show/output a list of all shortcuts that are different from the Defaults.
I regularly have 10+ tabs open and after 4-5 are open the tab bar becomes quite useless. I would love to see some form of tab management brought in. Some thoughts as follows Use the File Access Panel with "Open Documents" section added highlight currently active document manual drag to reorder listing tabs vertically with…
Provide a reverse lookup for shortcuts. Allow a user to type in a shortcut and show what it is currently assigned to. Also when adding a new shortcut if that combination is already in use, the message "Shortcut is reserved" is not helpful unless you also indicate what it is currently assigned to.
This from a rebar section drawing, exported from Tekla structures, that should show circles where the section crosses through the bars. There's an issue with bluebeam displaying dots which should be circles as jagged shapes. The same pdf shows correctly in other viewers (second image is from chrome as an example of how it…
Ever needed to fill out a form that isn't fillable — no form fields, just static text on a PDF? Trying to line up a Text Box over each blank can be fiddly, and the box will reflow your text if you resize it. The Typewriter tool is built for exactly this. ➡️ Here's how: Go to Tools > Markup > Typewriter, or press W. Click…
Allow users to search bookmarks for text to find one they are looking for. Allow users to select multiple bookmarks through the search results to move or delete them.
Maybe you can already do this, but when you select an object and use the arrow keys to "nudge" it, it does move. This is ok, but it would be nice to be able to set what value it moves with each nudge. What would be even better would be to have a "Large" and "Small" nudge valve, where pressing the "Shift+{arrow key}" would…
When trying to align objects, I am often moving small amounts to get them to align properly. Which means typing a lot. It would be super helpful when clicking on one of the text boxes (X, Y, Rotate, etc.) for it to automatically select all of the text in the box, so when I start typing it will replace what is there. And…
When searching the action list for my places, I type in what I am looking for in the field. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't so well? Seems if you pause at all during the typing is does not return correctly? Anybody else experience this? Or, am I just doing something wrong?
Recently copy text from a BB document to another format (Word/Excel/Google) pastes jibberish instead of text. Even after running OCR. Typically PDF was created by Word (or CAD). Anyone have ideas how to fix this?
I have files in studio, that I save report to. I then hyperlink to these files from the main drawings. Something is preventing me from saving them? All of a sudden? Any of you experience this? See screenshot. I have tried multiple file locations, they all behave the same.
I'm using the Individual to autoscale. Except I keep getting square inches instead of sq feet. Is there any way to change sq-in to sq-ft 'I'm using Bluebeam Revu x64 Complete Version 21.10 Thank you Rick or you can call me USA 209-986-6217 ontime@ctnontime.com
I am a CAD guy of 30+ years… I support a team of engineers & project managers in the US. They used to all have AutoCAD and I steered them toward Bluebeam with big promises of speed and ease of use. I created a variety of insertable items… like workstations, refrigerators, freezers, etc… everything they might need to…
I am getting this error when I try to use the tool. I read online that it could be an issue with the PDF being corrupted but I downloaded the sample site plan that is used in the demonstration videos and I am getting the same error message. Anyone have an advice on how to deal with this issue?
I am experiencing an issue where some pages of PDF documents appear completely blank in Bluebeam Revu on an ARM-based Windows computer. The problem appears to be associated with Revu 21.11. Their recommended troubleshooting process was: Back up the custom Revu tools and settings. Remove the previous Revu installation using…
I created a couple of custom annotative scale tools, these are mostly done using snipped items. I save the tool set and close BB normally but when I reopen BB some of the tools I have created graphically disappear and when selected create a block that is locked. I have tried this multiple times and it keeps failing is…
