Build connections with Bluebeamers around the world, discover what’s new, and make your voice heard.
as a Practitioner and workflow explorer, i like to support the fellow people and solve queries by screen recoriding videos instead of texts and snapshots, sometimes text and snapshots leads to more conversations but a small 30sec video can be better understanding and time saving, so I kindly request if possible please…
I’ve been using and discussing Bluebeam Max with fellow Bluebeamers over the past couple of months, and I noticed one thing: YES, Claude made the headlines, but it's not the only AI feature in Max. Four others address completely different problems and are equally potent. Smart Review flags missing sheets, mismatched tags,…
Recently copy text from a BB document to another format (Word/Excel/Google) pastes jibberish instead of text. Even after running OCR. Typically PDF was created by Word (or CAD). Anyone have ideas how to fix this?
I have files in studio, that I save report to. I then hyperlink to these files from the main drawings. Something is preventing me from saving them? All of a sudden? Any of you experience this? See screenshot. I have tried multiple file locations, they all behave the same.
I'm trying to use form fields to build a document. Some of the fields need text that is rotated 90°. I realize you can't do angles like 45°, which hopefully gets fixed, but I can't even do a 90° anymore. I set it to rotate to 90°, but the text stays horizontal. Has anyone else run into this? Is there a fix or workaround?…
I'm using the Individual to autoscale. Except I keep getting square inches instead of sq feet. Is there any way to change sq-in to sq-ft 'I'm using Bluebeam Revu x64 Complete Version 21.10 Thank you Rick or you can call me USA 209-986-6217 ontime@ctnontime.com
Anyone else noticing the change to the pen tool? The pen tool behavior now simplifies the lines instead of following exactly what is drawn, and is now changing some of my custom tools that were created with the pen tool. It is most noticeable at smaller scales. Another weird downgrade from Bluebeam that I can't understand.…
Has any of you ever had you hyperlinks all break when flattening? or unflattening? I had this happen today. I am a little sour, lol. I have to go redirect all of my links in that document. Very big document! Lesson learned. Save a copy, then save another to be safe.
I am a CAD guy of 30+ years… I support a team of engineers & project managers in the US. They used to all have AutoCAD and I steered them toward Bluebeam with big promises of speed and ease of use. I created a variety of insertable items… like workstations, refrigerators, freezers, etc… everything they might need to…
The Bluebeam product team is exploring new AI-assisted features in Revu, and we're looking for input from two kinds of people: People who do the work in Revu — reviewing, marking up, or checking drawings and documents. People who manage Bluebeam for a team — handling licenses, access, or settings for an organization. What…
Please provide an option when copying text from pdf to not include paragraph returns at end of each line into the copied text. This is ridiculous, everyone knows just because the text ends at the right side of the page that does not mean there should be a hard return - the text just continues on the next line. Removing all…
When I type my search query into the top box in the search tab & hit the "Enter" key, Bluebeam searches. However, when I'm in the range selection box (second box down allowing me to search entire doc, current page, etc.), and I hit the "Enter" key, Bluebeam does not search. Would be great if it did search from there! I…
Anyone else dealing with this? When I try to crop a photo, the handles disappear once I get close to the edge of the image on the right and top sides. Can't crop anywhere near those edges. Weird part is left and bottom work fine. I can crop all the way to the end on those sides no problem. Only happens on the right and top…
Apply this stamp after scale is confirmed. Change initials to personalize.
When closing PDF's, it needs to ask individually for each PDF open, not a blanket ask. Simple operation. "Do you want to save THIS pdf?" "What about this one?"
I am getting this error when I try to use the tool. I read online that it could be an issue with the PDF being corrupted but I downloaded the sample site plan that is used in the demonstration videos and I am getting the same error message. Anyone have an advice on how to deal with this issue?
I am experiencing an issue where some pages of PDF documents appear completely blank in Bluebeam Revu on an ARM-based Windows computer. The problem appears to be associated with Revu 21.11. Their recommended troubleshooting process was: Back up the custom Revu tools and settings. Remove the previous Revu installation using…
I created a couple of custom annotative scale tools, these are mostly done using snipped items. I save the tool set and close BB normally but when I reopen BB some of the tools I have created graphically disappear and when selected create a block that is locked. I have tried this multiple times and it keeps failing is…
So I am using quantity link to provide a actual completion percentage excel file used to track installation. It works well when I create the documents and use them locally, however when I ask others to use the file (it is basically one pdf and one excel in one folder) the linkage between the two files does not seem to be…
Ive been using the ipad version in the field for markups as I walk Cable/Coax lines. But the iPad version is crashing more and more as iOS versions are updated. I looked at the cloud version and it didn't seem to be anywhere close to parity. I'm pretty good with the windows version on my laptop. Have recently gotten a…
When i change the page range to custom range there is no prompt to pick which pages i want to print specifically.
