Hi everyone! We're bringing back a community favorite for July and August—Shortcuts! This challenge will run for a couple months, as it's a popular feature. The last time we ran a shortcuts challenge was back in October 2024, and a lot has changed since then. New community members have joined, workflows have evolved, and…

I watched this one and noticed that you could measure with perimeter measurements and set that up in my tool box under metal duct and round duct. I noticed that they had calculations for pounds in the markup list but did not go into detail on how to set that up. I was wondering if there is another video on how those…
Hey Bluebeamers! I'm Reesa, one of the product managers here at Bluebeam. We've been working on some ideas around how notifications and updates show up in Bluebeam solutions, and we're curious about how this feels for you day-to-day. We know some of you are in the trenches of your email inbox, setting up custom filtering…
Today's pick: Round All Corners. If you've ever traced an area with sharp corners but needed smooth, rounded edges, this tool can save a lot of cleanup time. A few ways I use it: 🔹Landscape and pavement takeoffs. 🔹Curved sidewalks and driveways. 🔹Rounded room layouts. 🔹Site plans with curved boundaries. Instead of manually…
With more people using bluebeam as a CAD/drawing program. It would be nice if bullet points/numbers points with auto text indent was a feature.
Allow the Alignment > Flip Horizontal/Vertical tool to work on individual arrow or line elements. Also make sure the arrow head direction flips when this command runs, it does not currently work properly.
In the offset command, allow a user to type in either feet and inches, or permit basic math in the cell and have it calculate. For example you need to offset 16'-10", but the command only takes feet or inches and not both, so allow the user to type in either 16'-10" or if set to feet the user can type 16+10/12.
Hi, I keep coming across the permission issues on a weekly basis between our teams that interrupts workflow substantially. Currently, when you open a session your only option is to click "Add Documents", however, if someone forgets to click this, none of the invited participants will be able to add documents until the…
Adding an option to customize the PDF reading background color (e.g., gray, beige, or any user-selected color). This feature is available in many other PDF readers and can significantly improve reading comfort and reduce eye strain.

Occasionally a file will be opened which is already opened by another employee. Markups are added to the file, then then the user selects "File, Save As" to save the file with a different name (i.e. P&IDs - Employee Name Review Comments.pdf". Bluebeam currently defaults the folder location to whatever folder bluebeam last…
I use the Snapshot tool many times a day with the shortcut (G). It's fantastic and so efficient! I have noticed the resolution of the snapshotted content is not as quality as other snapshot tools. Even text can look a bit blurry. Highly recommend increasing the resolution of snapshots up a few notches. Thanks!
Hey Guys, hope you all doing well, Today's Underrated Tool: Sequence If you're still numbering markups manually, you're spending more time than you need to. The Sequence tool automatically assigns numbers to your markups, making repetitive tasks fast and consistent. Here's where I use it: 🔹 Numbering room inspections. 🔹…
I'd like to suggest if there is a way to create a "script" or custom file that allows users to use page labeling more efficiently. Most everybody has there own Titleblock. Every time I print, i have to go recreate the SAME page regions with a - between Sheet Name and Description. It would be great to have something simpler…
My Genie Tool would be "Do It For Me." 🧞 I would simply say what I need in plain English, and Bluebeam would handle the rest. 🔸 "Measure all drywall and export by room." 🔸 "Find every revision cloud between these two drawings." 🔸 "Create a punch list from these comments." 🔸 "Count all fire-rated doors." 🔸 "Generate an RFI…
Hello, we use markup statuses to track drawing comments and actions on them. In a 'normal' session we can assign and change markup statuses, which we colour code too. However, if we set up a Project, and then create a Session using documents in the Project, none of this works. Or at least, we can't get it to work. There is…
I need a tool or plugin To automatically place items, lines and measurements onto a pdf file. The input should be a code or a previsous drawn line. I tried with javascript but this does not read the properties of markups list. Therefor it can not cenerate a measurement on the right places. Is there a plugin tool or another…
Hi all, Looking for a bit of help here with Spaces. I am copying spaces between services plans (Power plan to Lighting plan etc.) so identical building layout, but the space is often rotated by 90° regardless of page rotation. I have read the community posts on Rotating pages, but even if I copy the spaces (even grouped,…
When I hover over a document list it throws a pop out preview of the document? How can I get rid of this? It somewhat annoying? lol, See Screenshot.
We are having an issue where our detailers are sending PDFs of blueprints and they will not be grouped by page size. Where this becomes an issue is when we go to print, we have (2) different printers we use. One large format and one smaller printer. Also, occasionally they get a page size wrong, (use 12x18 instead of…
Sometimes right click will drop it, but most times I must select a new tool before escape will work. and no, my reuse markup tool is not engaged when this happens.
I’m trying to determine whether I’m encountering a limitation in Bluebeam iOS 1.31 or if there is a different workflow I should be using. In Revu Desktop, I created custom Count tools with unique Subjects, Labels, colors/symbols, and other properties. I saved them to a Tool Set, exported the .btx file, and imported that…
