We're excited to introduce Community Libraries, a new destination in the Bluebeam Community where you can discover, download, and now contribute reusable Revu resources. By bringing Revu Custom Libraries from the Support site into the Bluebeam Community, we've also created a central place to access these resources while…
Hi everyone! We're bringing back a community favorite this month—Shortcuts! The last time we ran a shortcuts challenge was back in October 2024, and a lot has changed since then. New community members have joined, workflows have evolved, and Revu has continued to receive updates and improvements. Whether it's a keyboard…
Today's tool: Spaces Many users create markups, but very few use Spaces effectively. Spaces let you divide a drawing into logical areas such as rooms, zones, floors, or work packages. Every markup placed inside a Space is automatically associated with that location. Why does this matter❓ It helps you: 🔹 Generate room-wise…
This is probably answered somewhere, but search does not appear to be working I am and Admin in a studio session, but I cannot change the status of any markups even my own. The Set Status sub-menu in the right click is blank. Any idea on why or how to fix? Not been an issue till recently.
Hi We noticed today that a new column called "GoCanvas Status" is automatically enabled in all of our profiles. We understand that the current workaround is to uncheck the column and save the profile again. However, this becomes difficult to manage in our environment since we maintain around 30 different profiles deployed…
https://support.bluebeam.com/revu/resources/mfa.html I appreciate Bluebeam’s commitment to account security through MFA. However, I’d like to raise a practical concern from the perspective of companies managing licenses for their staff. Currently, MFA requires employees to use their personal mobile devices for…
I have a set with 1500 pages and it would be very usefuly to remove hyperlinks so they can be re-done if a mistake is made. Right now I can only remove all the hyperlinks on individual pdfs. As it stands, i have to go into each page and remove the hyperlinks. A batch removal would be beneficial.

Wrapping up this month with a hot topic: drawings with a lot of markups! When drawings become packed with comments, symbols, and revisions, selecting the exact markup you need can quickly become frustrating. Instead of zooming in or moving markups, quickly and easily access markups hidden by cycling through overlapping…
Bluebeam users, What's one Bluebeam trick or hidden feature that most people don't know, but you use all the time? Let's help each other discover some hidden gems. 👇
Hello, I would love if Bluebeam had native support for equations utilizing subscript, fractions, and more. I currently have a word doc of equations but they do not natively copy and paste. Sometimes it is important for engineering to have a paper trail of calcs and it would be helpful to have native equations. WORD EXAMPLE…

Today's pick: Compare Documents One small feature that can save hours of manual checking. Instead of reviewing two drawing revisions line by line, I let Bluebeam highlight the differences automatically. It helps me quickly identify added, removed, or modified content before starting my takeoff or markup review. I don't…
I use header and footer to (sub-)number pages that are inserted in my main document. Please could you make it possible to use 'selected pages' when entering Header&Footer from the menu? Right now I have to write down (or remember) what pages need new headers each time. Thanks!
When BB gives you notice that your subscription has expired, maybe then should provide a link there to get a new subscription. That would be BRILLIANT !
When a document has Form Fields (e.g. Tools —> Forms —> Text Box), the keyboard shortcut is inactivated. I can't use my regular keyboard shortcut. Normally, from my Tool Sets, I'd hit "1" for the green rectangle markup. I can still click and select them but I'd rather not to move my fingers off the keyboard….. Does anyone…
First Time User. All of these contract documents display fine in other viewers, but in BlueBeam, the drawn borders come apart and the right hand side has lines missing or skewed. Whats the fix?
Say you have a large floorplan that is divided into a dozen or so different areas (spaces). Is it possible (in any version of Bluebeam) to have a single legend that - simultaneously - shows the device counts specific to each individual space? See attached diagram for an example of what I'm hoping to do. Thank you wizards…
Recently, I've been talking with support about an issue where the layers applied to my markups, disappear. Screenshot examples are below. Not all my layers end up deleting, and up until now I thought they would when I pressed the save button, however, today was not the case. In my examples, I'm showing how the area…
Has anyone else experienced this? We use the person + icon within a studio session when we want to invite extra attendees. Their email addresses are added and then staff types a message which often includes critical information for the new attendees to get up to speed. But they are reporting that sometimes their invitation…
when entering text in bluebeam max markup list, why doesn't it auto save and create a suggested list as you type like it did with core?In Bluebeam Revu, the Max edition differs from Core by focusing on advanced structural workflows. If your text fields and Markups list aren't auto-completing or suggesting past terms, it is…
There should be a way to add layers in a pdf on blue beam studio to have to set them all up sheet by sheet then upload them is very time consuming each time a new sheet is added or if someone else adds sheet
what is the most efficient way to mark and count objects in a blue print. In my case I might be counting ceiling vents or fan coil units. I would need to mark them all the same but would need to be able to total their Quantity on the spreadsheet.
hi everyone, what is the best way to use blue beam and an iPad on site for markups nowadays? I have the blue beam cloud app and have downloaded all of the required drawings on to it but I can’t seem to do any markups at all? Is this correct or am I doing something very wrong? thanks in advance! Luka Morris
Hi everyone, In light of the new ADA Title II regulations, many state and local governments — and the vendors who work with them — need their digital documents to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA by April 24, 2026 (or 2027 for smaller jurisdictions). This includes PDFs that end up on public websites or portals. I’m trying to…
