I am suggesting a feature that would help when navigating across multiple monitors (or multiple pdfs i guess) when you have pdfs either split and dragged off of the main bluebeam "home base", or just pdfs opened separately and some what on top of each other. Currently on windows 11 and bluebeam version 21.9, this feature was changed along the way of updates thru bluebeam but i am not sure what the version i had that i am getting the idea from as i no longer have access to that computer. I would say it was a bluebeam version prior to 21.9, and within the last year, maybe year and a half.
I have attached a screen recording of the issue i am talking about in a one drive link as it is a large file, note that i am not doing any mouse or keyboard inputs during this recording to make the pdfs automatically bring to front or set to back - even though it might look like i am.
I have also attached a screen shot "Capture 27" (Note this is across 3 monitors and a laptop screen) of what i would do on my old computer in bluebeam with many pdfs split out from the "home base" of bluebeam, and it would get crazier with putting more pdfs behind the ones shown here (similar to how the screen recording is set up). I would then click into the pdfs i would put behind these by just having the name of the pdf file at the top exposed, then it would bring it to front until i clicked into a pdf that was cropped down behind this one then it would bring that one back to front - very manually controlled as to what pdfs were displayed on top/in front. Currently if you tried that in the latest version of bluebeam it will bring the other pdfs that are on top of this to front out of your control by default to the front when panned across. (with old version)I was even able to zoom in and out of pdfs with just the mouse scroll wheel that were partially in front or behind other pdfs here and it still wouldn't bring them to front or set to back until i clicked into them - this should be brought back or incorporated with the listed below proposal.
I am trying to get this recognized and maybe a setting implemented as it helps with everyday working when chasing piping/lines across multiple pdfs, and comparing multiple pdfs/pdf binders to each other when they are constantly updating, without overlaying. My rough idea of a fix or what i would be looking for would be a setting somewhere called "pan over control" or something like that, with a drop down list of options to choose from the first being default and the update can be pushed out with this setting to default so it does not change anything for people moving forward who are un aware of the update. Then include in the drop down, default, disabled, or upon a "movement" with another drop down for movement selections to include but not limited to, pan over, zoom in/out, click into, click on tab.
