In many electrical distribution projects, duct bank profiles show total trench lengths and the trench depths along the profile. For estimating purposes, I calculate average trench depth by dividing the measured profile area by the trench’s horizontal length. This is manageable for a few profiles but becomes time-consuming on larger projects. Because the Area Measurement tool already uses the drawing’s Y-axis dimensions to calculate area, perhaps Revu could automatically calculate and display average depths. The value could be added as an optional measurement caption controlled by the existing "Show Caption" setting.
