India's architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry has changed rapidly in recent years as a result of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the industry. BIM is a collaborative process that combines design, planning, construction, and facility management tasks; it is more than just a digital tool. BIM…
The functionality that currently exists within the Markups List to add custom columns is not available in the 3D Model Tree when using the CAD plugin feature to generate a 3D model directly from a Navisworks file. This would be helpful to add custom columns that can be edited in order to assign a "group" name to a…
If not possible to be enabled while using ALL measurement markups, at least it can be used in counting materials like fittings, or fixtures.
How do I save a 3d model tree with just the columns that I choose? I have tried saving as a new view and then saving the pdf but when I open the pdf again the 3d model tree has reset to its defaults. I would like to send the pdf out to my team and clients so that they are able to just open without the need to set anything…
Is there a way to create a 3D drawing from scratch? Basically would be similar to a CAD drawing, I suppose.
It would be great when you export a 3D PDF from Revit, that the colors that appear on the Revit window match what the colors are in the 3D PDF. Currently, exports from Revit only take their native material colors and overrides in the 3D viewport do not transfer. Frequently, colors are altered for emphasis and changing the…

As part of preliminary estimating for roadway projects I have created a custom toolbox for area, length and count items. I can change the color. Is there a way to change the icon to something like SW for sidewalk area? I have the measuring tools set up with custom labels and layers to facilitate review and quantity total…

Here's an odd one that was brought to my attention from a user here. This is an XFA form created by the North Dakota DOT, and when data is entered into the form fields, the resulting math is incorrect when opened in Bluebeam but correct in Adobe. Bluebeam Revu 21.8: Adobe Acrobat: Since this form was created by an external…
If you choose an area and set the color, line weight and so on, then click out of measurement you have to then go back and redo all the particulars for that item that you are trying to take off. Can this be remedied? Onscreen allows the user to set a group of items to use repeatedly throughout a set of drawings (color,…
Hey - hope someone can help me here. I have custom mark ups I "save" to the tool chest to a custom tool set. When my session ends and I close and reopen bluebeam - none of the saved tools reload. Example - I am marking up an electrical plan. Realize I don't have a markup for bath fan with light. I create a custom mark up,…
I use Bluebeam to build submittals and I use hyperlinks in my table of contents to go to the specified product pages. How do I set up a hyperlink on every page to go back to table of contents by clicking, it needs to be on every page of submittal.
I have a custom column set up that acts as a multiplier to take off multiple floors of a building at once. If I place the markups first, then apply the space, it sets the multiplier value to "0". The default value for the column is set to "1". Is there a way that I can keep the multiplier value the same? Thanks!
In Bluebeam Revu I'm used to working with multiple files open and switching between the different tabs. Is this possible in the new Bluebeam without constantly having to close and save the file to open another?
