Instead of defaulting to the last folder where a Markup List file was exported to, can we have the option of defaulting to the folder in which the pdf file that you are using is saved. If I am moving between pdf's which are saved in different folders it is too easy to end up saving the output file in the wrong place.
Please allow Wildcard Characters or Regular Expressions when searching text.
Add an option to have a sequence "max out" at a certain value - for example I would like to create a sequence that does not increment past 99 or whatever arbitrary value I enter into the "Define sequence" options box
Can you add the option to create an arrow or circle etc. at the end of an arc segment (without having to draw one manually using a polyline or lines) similar to how you can do this with polylines or lines
It would be nice if Bluebeam would keep the bookmarks when copy and pasting pages between pdf documents (or inserting pages), other pdf tools like pdf x-change handle it very well.
On polylines you are able to convert a segment to an arc, but there is no way to revert the arc segment back to a line. You have to completely redraw the whole shape. Please create a convert arc segment to straight that is the counter to the existing tool.
Ability to hide the hotkey numbering in the Tool Chests. Once shown, there is no ide numbers option in the edit list.
By default, as a company, we disable JavaScript due to its potential malicious misuse. Bluebeam offers an entry in the RevuPreferences.xml to disable it on first run, however the user is able to re-enable it. When a user runs a PDF containing JavaScript, they receive a popup window that states: “This document contains…
BB: Can you go back to single click of the toolbox category header instead of a double click? For as much as we open and close these, not sure why you changed it.
The current method for distributing shared Tool Sets is inefficient, as it necessitates manual user intervention following each update; users must be individually notified and then import the updated sets themselves. A more robust solution would involve hosting Tool Sets in a centralised repository that Revu can poll or…
Here's an idea - use the features you already have in the most common way I see people staple PDFs to create a single file. Currently, you can only select "Use file name as page label" if you combine PDFs inside of Bluebeam. If you use the stapler, that option does not exist. The result - combined PDF sets uploaded to a…
A bunch of scanned drawings were obtained and processed with OCR. As it is hard to control how the printer scans the drawings, the drawings will not be aligned. It would be great to include a function to align drawings based on the title block. So when the users run the automark function by selected region, the accuracy…
It's pretty simple. It seems pretty intuitive. There should be a field under properties that displays the enclosed area of the selected polygon. If the scale is set, that field should display the scaled area of the polygon. We shouldn't have to retrace existing polygons to calculate area. Please, and thank you. A value-add…
The desktop version of bluebeam already allows for non-pdf file types to be checked in and out of Bluebeam Studio Folders (for example, and excel spreadsheet). Offering the same feature for the iPad App would allow Superintendents on the field to utilize excel spreadsheets to track equipment rentals and other useful…
I’ve used BB Revu for nearly 20 years and it is an important tool in my architectural practice. Recently, we decided to move over To Apple MacBook Pro laptops because the other hardware being used in the office is Apple's. While I knew some software would not be available on Apple Macs, I was surprised that there was no…

Please add the ability to allow some users to edit/delete other peoples comments. This can be controlled through permissions. At our organisation when reviewing drawings there is a review manager that consolidates comments before sending them back. This process occurs regardless of if we are using Bluebeam or another tool.…
Add folders for studio sessions to organize the list of recent Studio sessions. Some of our clients utilize one Studio session per deliverable on large projects that have multiple reviewers. It can be quite a task to find the one studio session for a smaller project amidst the rows and rows of studio sessions per…
With more people using bluebeam as a CAD/drawing program. It would be nice if bullet points/numbers points with auto text indent was a feature.
It would be helpful to have an autosave function for PDFs being used in Revu. Currently this does not exist and would be very beneficial.
This has been requested many many times in the past by many Revu users. WHY is there STILL no numbered/bulleted list function??
It would be great be able to see to whom and when the "alert attendee" has been done. Today you can see exactly who and when markups has been accepted but there are no info at all if a markup has been alerted to someone.
It would be a huge time saver to have keyboard shortcuts for assigning markup statuses. Numerous workflows (e.g. QA/QC and design reviews, punch/back-check) involve multiple status changes for markups, and often times there are multiple statuses (or state models) to choose from. On large projects, with 100's if not 1,000's…
I hope you're doing well. I'm reaching out because I have a couple of suggestions that I think could make Bluebeam even better. First off, I've been really impressed with the new ARM-based Windows machines, especially those using the Snapdragon Elite X. They’re powerful, have great battery life—kind of like MacBooks in…
I'd like to create/insert a table into Bluebeam Revu that I can edit like any other markup.
I don't know how many times I have drawn a rectangle or polygon shape to create an outline or fill, only to need the area. Instead of redrawing it, it would be great to be able to simply convert it to an area. Or have them always calculate area regardless of the tool?
