Feature Request: Add "Crop" Functionality to Snapshot Markups

Hi Bluebeam Team,

I am writing to suggest a feature update that would significantly improve the workflow efficiency for users who rely on the Snapshot tool (G).

Current Issue: Currently, if a user takes a snapshot and realizes there is excess content or "clutter" around the edges, they must delete the snapshot and re-take it. Unlike the Image markup tool, which allows for dynamic cropping via the Properties panel, Snapshots are "locked" once created.

Requested Feature: I recommend adding a "Crop" button to the Properties panel for Snapshot markups, similar to how it works for standard Images.

Why this is valuable:

Precision: It allows users to clean up markups to fit into tight spaces on a drawing without losing alignment.
Speed: It removes the "trial and error" process of re-taking snapshots to get the perfect border.
Consistency: It aligns the behavior of Snapshots with Images, making the software more intuitive for new and power users alike.

Also to add to this:

Once you've changed colour on a Snapshot, you can't then go back in an edit that colour change
It would be ideal to be able to save snapshots, like (I think they are models) in AutoCAD

@Mr Simon W Robinson did you know that you can save snapshot images to your Tool Chest?

The basic process:

Activate the snapshot tool
Capture your snapshot
Paste it too your document
Select the pasted image
Right click on the selected image and select "Add to Tool Chest"
Select the Tool Chest you'd like to add the image to

If you want to get really fancy you can set the scale of your toolbox and save the image as a scaled image. This is very handy for placing markups on documents with different scales than your source document.
