Feature Highlight: Rotating Measurement Captions
This week, we'll be highlighting the Rotating Measurement Captions feature in Bluebeam! It's a simple, yet mighty feature that allows a user to rotate Measurement captions. Here's how: Select the measurement markup whose caption is to be rotated. Click the anchor point and drag it to the desired angle. Notice that the…

Google Drive Shortcuts
When accessing files and folders that live in google drive and are shared, drive creates a shortcut in windows to access the files. We share folders of our construction drawings but only the owner has access to these through File Access in Bluebeam. Since these are shortcuts and not actual folders in windows, Bluebeam does…

Bug Report - Alert Attendee e-mails
When an attendee is alerted, they get the e-mail, with some of the info, but clicking the link does not take the user to the thing they were supposed to be alerted to. The studio session does open, but no files open. It doesn't go to the comment.

Make list of studios joined sortable by title and last time joined
when I open the studio tab, there is a random list of studio sessions that i've joined. The list is random. Sometimes the most recent ones are at the top, sometimes ones I haven't joined in weeks are randomly at the top. There is no ability to change the sorting. If I could sort it, I could quickly find the one I want.

Feature Highlight: Overlay Pages
This week we’re highlighting the Overlay Pages feature. This tool allows you to compare two or more documents by overlaying them, highlighting differences and changes with different colors. It's perfect for identifying revisions between versions of drawings. Overlaying documents can help you catch changes that might be…

Export a PDF Package from Bluebeam Studio Session
If I am not mistaken, there is no current way to export a PDF package to retain the individual pdf sets from a Bluebeam Studio Session. The only current way creates a combined PDF set, to which then the admin of the session would need to break them apart if they wanted to keep them separate.

change error message for studio
Currently, when changing networks, Bluebeam studio gets disconnected. When disconnected, and I click on a link for a studio session, I get an error that the session is not found. This causes confusion that I to ask the provider of the session to confirm that it is still active. If Studio is disconnected, can we please…

Auto scale drawings
It would be great if Bluebeam would be able to auto scale drawings and maybe show a sample of a measurement next to the scale on the drawings that way the user can be confident a scale is correct. The scales shown on the drawings are fairly consistent, so it should be achievable.

Email Attachments - "All Open Files"
Current Workflow: I have four open files that I need to share via email to someone. Step 1: Use Ctrl+e, launch a blank email with the file as an attachment. Step 2: Switch tabs in Revu. Use Ctrl+e, launch a second blank email with the file as an attachment. Steps 3-4: Repeat Step 2, two more times. Step 5: Drag files from…

Windows Explorer Preview Pane Zoom
Bluebeam Revu v.20 had zoom capability when using Windows Explorer and Outlook preview pane. While the preview pane is useful on it's own, the zoom feature was critical in allowing me to scan dozens to hundreds of drawings (~24"x39") quickly to find information without having to open every single file. This has saved me…

Custom Statuses applied to all new Studio PDF's
Is there a way that all pdfs uploaded to a BB studio session have a custom status applied? The method outlined in this article with a saved profile still makes you create one markup and set the the status for it to be included in the studio session.…

Page Navigation on Tabs That Have Been Pulled to Another Screen
In a multi-monitor setup, I will have the main BB screen and drag another tab to another screen. It would be nice if the page navigation bar at the bottom duplicated and went over to the secondary screen so I could thumb through pages on the same screen rather than thumbing through from the main screen only.

Studio Session Permission Management
I want to better understand how permissions work in Studio Sessions. I have asked BB and was basically told to attend a 101 seminar at the end of November and read the product help screens. Really? So, I want to state what I think I already know and ask for clarification from the community. It feels like the documentation…

Better Multiple Tab/Screen Functionality
When moving a PDF file from the main BlueBeam application to another window (or second monitor), it creates a new Bluebeam tab. I would like to see it create a new separate application on my computer that I can pull up and down, as needed. Currently, if I click away on Bluebeam (with multiple tabs open on multiple…
