Bluebeam Field
Ok, So after a full weekend of messing around with Bluebeam Cloud and trying to integrate it into my teams everyday use, I have decided it doesn't work for us in its current form. I have no need for Bluebeam Sessions or Bluebeam Studio. Or if I do, Bluebeam isn't making it apparent. I love Bluebeam on my PC and I have been…

Managing Bluebeam When Admin Rights Are Locked Down
Hi everyone – I’m new here and excited to learn from this group. I work with a lot of teams in construction and government who are moving toward tighter IT security policies — especially removing local admin rights for end users. One thing I’ve noticed is that Bluebeam (and sometimes other tools) can get tricky in that…

Sets and Projects and Sessions
Would really love if there was more of a seamless blend between all of these great features. I think perhaps Projects should be the primary system. However, the collaborative markups of sessions is so much better then the checking in and out of files in projects. I think any and all files that are added to a project should…

Importing Bookmarks from Existing to New PDFs
Hello, I've been searching for a way to import existing bookmarks to a new pdf using bluebeam, but there is no such function. I reached out to Bluebeam support and they confirmed that this function does not exist and I should make a suggestion here. I would like to see a bookmark import function. Coming from using PDF…

Punchlist Setup/Template
Hi, We are new to BB and just starting to setup our templates, library etc. I have seen comments on using BB for punchlists and viewed on youtube but does BB have a learning page on how to set these up properly? We do large multi storey hotel projects and ideally want a live punchlist of sorts. Thanks for your help

Sub Folders for Markup Sessions
It would be extremely helpful to be able to create sub-folders within markup sessions. Marking up multiple files in one session gets messy fast, especially when we want to retain each markup version. If we can store older revisions in a separate folder it would make accessing the most up to date revisions easier and ensure…

Inverse Color Processing Function
Currently, Color Processing lets us select a color in the PDF and change it to another. However, it would be extremely helpful to have the inverse functionality: instead of choosing which color to change, we could select the color(s) we want to keep visible, while the rest become transparent (or another neutral color).…

Automated Parent/Child Bookmark Creation
What's up community?! I am struggling with an efficient procedure to create bookmarks in bluebeam. I know how to create bookmarks and parent/child formatting. I want to know if it is possible to write a script or if a default method exists to have bluebeam create a parent bookmark such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing,…

Brush use case
I don't know how mark-ups are usually done for cost estimates, but I do it using the mark-up titles and etiquettes and using the legend to see the quantities. I think it would be helpful to have the brush also take the specification of title and or etiquette. Because then I can turn a a masonry wall into RC just using the…

Revu Additional Right Click Options: Select Similar
Revu Additional Right Click Options: Select Similar Select Similar = all of the exact same markup type including formatting Menu: Select Similar > >All on sheet >All in document It would be very helpful to be able to select markups using the above right click menus.

Make Working Between Windows More Efficient
Often when I work, I need two independent screens up to reference a previously reviewed document or bring pages from one doc to another, and I am really handicapped not having two functional, i.e., fully tool laden windows to work with. This floating window off to the side with nothing but tabs at the top is virtually…

Enhancing Measurement Takeoff Efficiency Through Smart Color-Coded Markings
I've built a fully personalized tool chest, but we're still doing takeoffs manually. For example, if a measurement is marked red, it would be great if any related markings or measurements could automatically adopt the same color. Take walls in buildings, for instance….. if we categorize walls as Type 1 through Type 6, and…

Current Folder As Save Location For Markup List Export
Instead of defaulting to the last folder where a Markup List file was exported to, can we have the option of defaulting to the folder in which the pdf file that you are using is saved. If I am moving between pdf's which are saved in different folders it is too easy to end up saving the output file in the wrong place.

Arcs with Leaders
As the title suggest, it would be nice and almost necessary to include leaders in the default ARC tool rather than having to create a polyline, convert to arc, drag grips, etc, to simulate this.
