My suggestion is to add the ability to apply multiple tools at the same time. In construction we often need to apply multiple layers of materials to the same area. Examples could include plywood/tar paper/shingles on a roof or fine grading, stone, asphalt base, asphalt binder, tack and asphalt wearing course on a parking…
Happy Halloween Bluebeam users! Some features in Revu are very powerful and useful but a little intimidating at first. Is there a tool that used to "haunt" you but you learned to master it? Share how you learned and mastered this "haunting" tool in the comments below!
When working with layers in Bluebeam, our estimating team typically uses the same template across all projects — about 15 main layers, each with multiple child layers. So far, we haven’t found a reliable way to transfer this full layer structure from one project to the next. We’ve tried saving the layers to a template file…
So, for my 31st idea for the month of October I'd like to suggest that the development team not lose sight of the basics. While there are a number of "power" users out here that think nothing of adding multiple additional columns with formulas and exporting data to Power Query for further processing there are many more who…

I have an associate that is using a pdf Form that we created for them to use. After he fills it out and saves it, the background of random pages turn from white to black.
Hi everyone! This Halloween, we’re tackling something that can be just as scary as ghosts and goblins—cluttered documents, messy markups, and disorganized projects! 👻 This month’s challenge is Creepy Clutter Cleanup! We want to see how you clear the cobwebs out of your Bluebeam Revu projects. Do you have tricks for…
I, for one, just wanted to say one final (and very large) THANK YOU to all the Bluebeam staff who helped pull off another amazing conference. The Keynotes were amazing, the sessions, the Hub (that place was Rockin'), the Bluebeam Bash at the National Building Museum, even the tour on Friday… simply outstanding. From all of…
Current leader lines on callouts have 2 control points which provide limited options for adjustment: My suggestion is to provide "Polyline Functionality to the leader lines. This way you could add control points and convert segments to arcs to provide more flexibility in how your leaders are displayed: The above example is…
Often it is necessary to remove a number of control points from a markup. Currently I'm aware of two ways of doing this: Select a point, right click and select "delete control point" then repeat for every point that need to be removed. Select the "Subtract Control Point" button and click on each point to be removed.…
Sometimes it is nice to check markups are applied correctly by clicking through the markups list and seeing where the markup is located in the document. Currently, if your markups list is sorted by a column (subject for example) the individual markups are sorted below the Subject value in an "as created" order - as best I…

Next CANBUG 🍁 I will be doing a presentation on Spaces. If you thought they were just for a Punch process, you're going to either sadly disappointed or pleasantly surprised 😎. Spaces can do a lot for you if you know how. Plus you know, a little hockey 🏒 talk now that the season is getting underway.
At #UNBOUND25 multiple speakers mentioned how important user input was to the development team for adding new features. Users can suggest product improvements on the "Product Feedback" section of the Bluebeam Community webpage. If you see a feature suggested that someone has already posted that would help you with your…
Following on from my previous request that there be an option to Export to the current folder, can we also have an option to save the Batch Config file which is used by each profile. Having a single Batch Config file for a single profile may be okay but, I have multiple profiles which I switch between regularly. It would…
It would be nice to be able to rotate hatches independent of the geometry it is in, or to be able to customize the angle or direction of that hatching. It would also be nice to edit the hatch properties without editing the other markup properties. For example, if you have a
While I'm sure this has been submitted as a suggestion before the Community page was launched by @Doug McLean and @Vince French (and others) I don't see it in the product feedback area for upvoting.
Hi All, I slip sheeted revised pages into my plans but my bookmarks still point to the superseded pages. Is there a way to batch correct this? Thanks ahead, Ian
Hi all, We're trying to automate the creation of toolchest for all of our clients and we're in the process of generating them from Autocad to the .btx format. Was wondering if there's any documentation out there for the btx file format ?
With no intentional change of software I have run into a situation that causes Revu v21.7 to be unusable for modifying PDF files. It only functions as a viewer. V21.7 has been working without issue until now. Multiple problems occur: All markup tools are grayed out and non-functional. The BB logo and the text "Sign In"…
There should be a way to limit/restrict the general tools within a session, allowing only tools provided in a tool chest to be used. Currently, participants can use tools outside of the toolbox. Even if a profile is setup to hide unwanted tools, users can reopen hidden tools or use key-in shortcuts. This hinders the…
Hello everyone! Can someone please tell me where the experts are on utilizing BB cloud on an iPhone in conjunction with their BB revu on their laptop! I have too many questions to ask here!🙄

I created separate sets for my Arch, Struc, Civil, etc. drawings. It helps to have 2-3 open at once. They will open as a tab a the top of the window but only 1 Set is available at a time in the Sets window. Can I have more then one Set open and have is switch as I switch through the main window tabs?
Our firm has implemented Bluebeam and we have found many benefits. One issue that we have run into is building a regulatory report including dozens of attachments combined into a single PDF results in our clients unable to E-sign in Adobe and generating error codes regarding embedded fonts and unrecognized content. Is…
Recently my team has been encountering instances where Bluebeam seems to be adding multiple statuses, seemingly on it's own, to markups. It does it to multiple markups at a time too and takes a lot of real estate on the markup list. We're still actively working on identifying potential causes for this, as I personally have…
We need a report that identifies the users and the system names from which the Bluebeam application is being accessed. Specifically, we want to know who is logging in from which machines. This report is currently not available to the 'Org Admin' in your portal
I’ve noticed that in Revu 21, every page in the Thumbnails panel now shows “Scale: Not Set” if the PDF doesn’t have a defined drawing scale. In my case, I review and organize a lot of documents like submittals, wiring diagrams, proposals, and building maps, none of which use or need scales. The problem is that the “Scale:…
No sure if this is the correct place to add this, if not please point me to the correct section. I am proficient will all types of design software (20+ years) and recently started using Bluebeam for my current role. Like any software, the only thing that changes is the terminology. If you know what you want to do, you…
Does layers work with sets? I created a layer on one sheet, then tried adding that layer to another sheet, but it's not available to add. It only has the option to create new.
