It would be awesome if there was a vba add in so that we could use vba macros to combine pdfs, without needing to save, open bluebeam and then combine files there.
you can. You can use the Stapler outside of Revu to combine pdfs. You don't have to open Revu to use it. You can find it in your Windows Start menu. There are some macros you can use within Revu as well. Search for Using Scripts in Revu in the help menu
This sadly only solves have the issue as far as my understanding and testing goes. Right now i have excel set up to trigger specific files in folders and merge them with the PDF create through excel. The code relies on an acrobat addin to open and combine the pdfs. While stapler allows me to combine files to do so i would need to open stapler and manually drag the files or write javas cripts to pull files a certain way and append my script as i make adjustments. Through excel vba it is much simpler if revu had just a vba item, such as acroexh.PDDoc.
I believe the crosshair color customization needs to be restored. I relied on this feature for a long time, and in the newer version it appears that I’m no longer able to change it. This change significantly affects my workflow.
I've customized the callout tool for weld mapping (O&G fabrication). I have the line, endpoint, and text box shape as I like them. My problem is, when used in drawing mode, my pre-populated text and text box size is exactly how I want it but the line endpoint and associated lines are locked in place (not ideal). If I use…
How do I select multiple mark-ups and copy them to all sheets in the PDF?
Help! I need to open AutoCAD files and can't find the basic instructions to find and install the plugin that will enable me to open, mark up, and save native dwg format files into a new pdf markup. I opened 'Administrator' but can't find the option to install a new plugin to Bluebeam. I only have Excel and Word plugins,…
I marked up a cloud in Revu and added three comments to the markup. On the web version, I can see all three comments. However, on the iPad, only two are displayed, and the first comment is not visible. Does anybody know how to display the first comment on the iPad?
I have a snapshot that I saved in my toolbox. The picture went away and the tool was grayed out, so I deleted it. The empty snapshot got onto my document while I was doing this process. I did not realize it at the time and continued marking up the document. Everything else is working properly. Now I have the grayed out…
Hi—has anyone found a way to navigate the menu bar using alt and arrow keys (or something else)? I'm currently seeing that pressing alt highlights "revu" on the left, but no key can drop it down or shift the highlight to a different menu bar option (eg document). I also notice that if alt is pressed, then a menu bar option…
CAn we export form Bluebeam to DXF. If not any way we can export the lines to be used in anlaysis software
Some of the consultant drawings I receive have a protected scale and when taking measurement and areas it doesn`t show up in the markup list. Also the drawing is blued out. Is there away around this Many thanks Murray
I've been trying to find anything related to this, but all I see is default tool 'settings' but I want to change the tool, not settings of the tool. The default selected now is the pan tool but my most used tool is the select text tool and when I open a new PDF or have multiple opened and then I close one, Revu will change…
