I'm trying to edit an interactive stamp I've created to have a dropdown field for our cost types, but I can't get the javascript code to work correctly and every time I try I'm losing the dialog box. I've linked Test Stamp 1 (the fields all fill out the way I want, but the Cost Type isn't a dropdown) but I know there's a…
I am using Bluebeam Version 21.7. I am using icons in my tool box and plotting them on my maps. I then click on those icons, right click and select create Legend. It is sometimes not updating the quantity and retaining the symbol icons. Any help is appreciated.
This question pertains to one particular PDF. Every time I open this PDF in Bluebeam, it automatically opens the print dialog box. This does not happen with any other PDF, just the one. I have looked through document settings and Revu preferences but could not find a reason or solution. Any ideas how to make the print stop…
When I use Snapshot (G), it allows me to create a rectangle around desired content (in a PDF), but it does NOT flash blue once I release left mouse click and therefore, it does NOT create a snapshot (in order to paste). I get the same results whether or not I click symbol or through edit → snapshot. What am I doing wrong?
I often use Revu to combine documents into one PDF. Revu always asks if I want to save the stapler job before exiting. I never want to save the stapler job. Is there a way to stop that "Save Job before Exiting" popup from coming up?
1 out of 4 documents won't show our organization's profile when trying to set the status of a comment in a Bluebeam Session. We re-converted the document to a PDF and the issue still remains when we opened it with Bluebeam. We received the original document from another organization and it's not locked by the creator. Is…
I have measured many different areas in relation to flooring. Now I want to create a new sub-zone on top of some of them, where Bluebeam should calculate how many square meters of the different types (e.g., based on color marking) are within this zone—ideally also showing the percentage of the total area at the same time.…
My bluebeam updated a few days ago, and since then my properties panel has disappeared and no longer pops up when I click on a markup. There is also no label in the markup list that I can edit or search for. The properties bar is still there, but when I click on the properties icon on the right side nothing happens anymore.
As I was preparing my response to @Troy DeGroot's post about custom line types I stumbled on to something that seemed odd. My original work with the custom line types was performed on my desktop at the office. When I opened the file from my laptop, I was surprised that the custom line styles that I had created weren't…
I have about 20 markup measurements on my list. How do I total these for the overall measurement or do I have to do it manually?

Please add folders within sessions for document organization. This will make navigating to the documents within a session cleaner and easier as documents within a session can add up and be cumbersome to have to search through to find what the user is trying to open. This feature would be greatly appreciated by all. Thank…
Hi all, my name is Aily, and I'm the Manager of Customer Education at Bluebeam - nice to meet you! I want to learn how you prefer to train, onboard, or up-skill your internal employees on everything Bluebeam, so I can make sure we're allocating the right resources to the right kinds of training (aka help me help you!). If…
On the Bluebeam website, under "Resources" > "Need an older version of Revu?" there is only v20 and older. This needs new options, like v21.6. Currently the need for this is high, because v21.7 has a highly annoying "new feature" while drawing polylines, areas and contour and area measurement. Something goes visually wrong…
I just installed version 21.4 this morning on a second work machine, and encountered the common problem of Print to Bluebeam being broken during install. I resolved the problem using the following steps (Windows 11, 64 bit). I have admin privileges, so make sure you can make such changes before starting. I can't guarantee…
While I wait for the influx of new members from the PHX/NorCal bug webinar I thought I'd ask about your experience with making custom hatches and line styles in Bluebeam (the topic of the webinar). There were some great examples of custom hatches and lines that made a lot of sense for those users. One was a civil office…
If you've ever had to place a symbol on a drawing more than three times, you've probably wondered, "I wish I didn't have to keep clicking on the symbol every time I want to place it." I have great news for you 😀 The Reuse Tools option keeps that tool selected for placing as many instances of a symbol as you need! There are…
Did you know that double-clicking a Bluebeam Revu Profile (.bpx file) automatically opens Revu and imports the profile for you? This is the quickest and easiest way to have a User import a Profile. It is a very low impact for our non-technical friends and co-workers. 😅 It is much better than explaining how to click the…
I should be able to post a link here and have it take you to a Bluebeam session and a specific file within it. http:// (session URL) / file I should be able to link to a markup even as well. Why isn't this in Bluebeam yet? It's so frustrating that we (in multiple workplaces I've been at) have to say "hey folks we posted…
I would like another option for locking that allows for a shapes dimensions to be locked, but still be able to move the shape / sketch around. An example of this would be a toggle for "dimension lock" where I could trace the outline of a building and rotate / move it around a site or property without accidentally changing…
I have used BlueBeam Revu to create piping isometric drawings. However, this process takes a very long time and is painstaking because currently Revu only allows you to snap to 45° or 90°. If there was an option to turn on snapping to 15° increments, it would allow for much cleaner and faster creation/marking up of piping…
