Legend Presets not holding

Hi, been using Revu for a few months every day of the work week all day. I've been struggling with the legend. I set up the legend as i wanted it got everything working and put it in a toolchest. The first day it worked great, but every day since I have to keep setting all of my toolchests to use this legend as the default. Every time I insert the legend from the tool chest its blank. I click the settings on each of my four toolchests and select my legend. most of the time everything fills in. But I should not have to do this every time I insert the legend. This job has 15 different pages that each will need a legend and every page I had to reset it up. and yes the legend is set to current page.

I've only been doing this for a few months and do not have any peers that I can learn from so I have had to rely on bbu and youtube videos, and I just have not found one that discusses that deep of settings for legends.

Please fix the legend tool. I see posts complaining about how poorly it works going back 5-6 years. Random symbol rotation is very annoying and by the time I figured out that the only way around that was to use an image for all of my symbols, which I DO NOT WANT to do, I already had about 80 custom symbols in the tool chest. Very, very not cool. I still can't figure out an easy way to order the lines. It really is absurd that after all this time, the easiest/only practical way of making a legend is to use excel. Adding a legend, ordering the lines, rotating and resizing the symbols should all be easy things to do. This tool is so buggy that I really cannot see how it could be of any use whatsoever.

Hey too bad you dislike this tool so much, we love it. It could be better, but man it helps a lot, we just need to understand its limitations better.

I was able to watch how the Legend worked and was able to get my markups to group as I needed them too.

We also had to recreate our markups as snapshots but because we already had them created, it didn't take long, and it was well worth it.

Plus the spacebar markup rotation is new so you have to expect some changes on our part to fully utilize it to its potential.
