Foreground focus does not register with mouse hovering

I have a mouse with the forward and back buttons. I use LogiOptions+ to have the buttons do a keyboard shortcut only when using Bluebeam. Specifically, I make them do CTRL+Left/Right to go to the previous/next page of the pdf instead of the default of next/last view. This worked fine for the last year, but this week I upgraded to Revu 21 and thats when I started having problems. When I switched from another window to BB, I could just click on the pdf, zoom or pan, and the shortcuts would work.

Now after getting Revu 21, I have to do a keyboard command like starting a text box and then cancelling, clicking a button on the toolbar, or moving the window around to get it into full focus. These are all a huge inconvenience.

This is a pain when I am quickly trying to scroll thru a document while multitasking with another app, switching between apps quickly.

This sounds more like a Windows issue, or possibly an issue when LogiOptions+ updated.

You'll probably have to go back into your software and reprogram your mouse.

Yes I figured this would be the first answer.

I troubleshooted for 2 hours yesterday. I reinstalled LogiOptions, reconnected my mouse and everything else I could try. Nothing fixed it. The button commands are different for different apps, and they work just fine on those apps after a simple click on that window. Bluebeam is the only one that this does not work for. As I said, this feature worked just fine for over a year, then it started happening as soon as I upgraded to Revu 21 per my organizations' requirement.

This could also be fixed if the was a setting within Bluebeam to change the command done by using these buttons on a mouse. Why is it locked to only being next/last view?

I have an MX Master 3 mouse so I feel your pain.
It COULD also be that something has overwritten the commands.

Have you checked your preferences under General> Navigation to where you Enable a 3D Mouse and possibly enabling the Horizontal Mouse Wheel?

The 3d mouse option doesn't do anything for me.

I am using the MX Vertical, so I don't have the horizontal scroll wheel unfortunately. Does that automatically change pages on Bluebeam? Might cause me to get the MX Master if so.

it can.
It has the ability to be programmed.
It also has a thumb scroll wheel which allows for horizontal scrolling. (Also very handy with Excel)

The MX Master 4 is the newer model, but the 3 is still good.
