How do i extract the area of a door or window or oppening from the area of a wall?
Hi @Rafael Urtecho ! After creating the area measurement, go back into Tools and select Polygon Cutout.
Draw a polygon for the door or window. The area now just represents the wall after the cutout.
After this, you can select the Area tool again. The cursor will turn into a paint can as it moves over the door or window. Click there to get the area of the door window.
Thank you for the answer. But I'm referring to subtracting the area of doors, windows, and openings when you are measuring the walls in a plan view. What I would do is measure the linear length and apply a height to the wall; from that, I would get the gross area. The part that I do not know how to do is to deduce the areas of the voids, like doors and windows.
Am I missing something? I was previously using revu ipad in the field for viewing drawings and scaling plans. I have recently updated to a bluebeam subscription and downloaded the new app on the ipad, I have not been able to figure out how to scale on the ipad. I have been able to do this on the web app on my computer but…
Hi All, When I Slip Sheet in Revisions from the Batch menu I already have to manually match my files due to filenames issues. The frustrating part for me is that I also have to manually add the Set Tags because of drawing format. Is there a way to have BB autofill the tags from the Current Matched pages to the Revised…
This question might suited for @Shawn Dawson regarding search button on the cloud session. Will we see this function in the future? we deal with 100s of pages and it helps having a search. thanks!
Ok, so I've been out of the loop for a little while now, but I'm trying to brainstorm a way to improve my workflow. I vaguely remember there being some sort of feature where you can edit the Comment field of a text box to something like {{Subject}} and then that text box will display its Subject automatically. I can't, for…
I am looking to create a standardized profiles with custom columns for markups. I have been creating profiles to test out this function, however when switching between profiles the custom columns are not changing to match what I have saved to each profile. For example, I am still getting Profile 1 columns for Profile 2 and…
Some of the people in my team are using the 2020 and I'm using the current one. it seems that they don't see my markups. only the users with the current can see it. can someone explain to solve this issue? Thanks!
I am working with a team that has 4 Revu users. I would like to know if I could have profiles and tool chests that are on a server that we can all use, while everyone has there own native profiles and tool chests on there machines that they are use too?
It would be nice is the Markups list could be docked (not floating) on the right side of the screen.
Hi, Is there anything in BlueBeam's pipeline to support Microsoft Intune and their policies? Like App Protection Policy? Or other MDM solutions. If not, does anyone have experience in how to handle this? There must be alot of people using BlueBeam with Intune or other MDM solutions.
Snapshot tool - keeps using the old snapshot. When I create a new snapshot and try to paste it, the old one shows up again. Tried saving and closing, no luck. Tried clearing the windows clipboard, then I couldn't even paste. New problem just popped up overnight. Revue 21.6.10194, can't upgrade until it we get the trickle…
