Hi Bluebeam Community! 👋
I've been exploring a common challenge in CCTV, access control, and low-voltage projects.
What happens when equipment changes after the final as-built documentation has already been issued?
A camera gets replaced, an IP address changes, or a device is moved to a different location. The original PDF remains unchanged, and keeping the equipment register accurate becomes increasingly difficult.
To help address this, I've developed NEXORA Device Register & As-Built Change Tracker PRO, an Excel-based workflow designed to complement Bluebeam Revu.
It helps teams:
✅ Compare signed-off device registers against updated records
✅ Identify added, removed, modified, and unchanged equipment
✅ Track changes to IP addresses, MAC addresses, models, serial numbers, and locations
✅ Maintain standardized device naming
✅ Organize O&M manuals, warranties, commissioning documents, and project handover records
The workflow uses CSV exports from Bluebeam Revu and Excel. It's not a Bluebeam plugin or an automatic PDF synchronization tool.
I'm curious how other Bluebeam users handle post-handover equipment changes.
Do you maintain separate Excel registers, use Studio Projects, or have another workflow?
I've also documented the approach here, for anyone interested in seeing the example:
I'd really appreciate feedback from anyone working with CCTV, access control, or low-voltage project documentation.
Thanks everyone!
