Hi everyone,
In light of the new ADA Title II regulations, many state and local governments — and the vendors who work with them — need their digital documents to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA by April 24, 2026 (or 2027 for smaller jurisdictions). This includes PDFs that end up on public websites or portals.
I’m trying to understand how this is affecting real‑world Bluebeam users and what you need to stay compliant.
A few questions for you:
- How, if at all, are these April 2026/2027 deadlines changing your current Revu workflows?
- When you think about Bluebeam Revu itself, what accessibility‑related controls or features would help you the most?
- For example: an in‑app accessibility checker, tagging tools, alt‑text support for markups/images, color‑contrast guidance, etc.
- If you’re currently jumping to another product to make PDFs accessible, what specific capabilities there are you missing in Revu today?
Any details you can share would be really helpful in shaping how Bluebeam thinks about PDF accessibility going forward! Feel free to respond here or send me a message directly.
