Preset items to choose from

Question

If you choose an area and set the color, line weight and so on, then click out of measurement you have to then go back and redo all the particulars for that item that you are trying to take off. Can this be remedied?

Onscreen allows the user to set a group of items to use repeatedly throughout a set of drawings (color, scale, items, IE area, linear, count) that will be contained within one project or across multiple projects. Does BB do this and I simply have not found it? or do I need the higher subscription? (currently using the mid-level option)

If there is a way to do this in BB, then where can I find it or learn how to find it? if there is not, can this be remedied to allow users to set their own reusable items?

This is exactly the use case for the Tool Chest.  If you do not already see the icon for the Tool Chest panel, Across the top bar drop down Window, Panels, and select Tool Chest.  The Tool Chest allows you to save the properties of a markup you created for later use. Exactly as @AnthonyLara said. Tool Chests are designed to let you save and reuse custom markup properties so you do not have to reset color, line weight, and other settings every time you place a measurement or markup.
