I frequently copy excerpts from a PDF using the 'Snapshot' tool ('G' keyboard shortcut) and paste them into emails and chat (MS Outlook & Teams).
I love that it can retain vector data and have customized resolution.
However, I ran into an issue trying to copy the full page.
Even with a basic, unlocked, 8.5x11 page with text only - when trying to right click the page thumbnail and 'Copy Page to Snapshot' so I can paste the whole page, it works within Bluebeam but fails to paste into MS programs.
This works within bluebeam and I could paste it in another file or MS Word, but not MS Outlook or Teams. If I Snapshot the page view content itself minus a small sliver on the edge of page, it works to paste into MS Outlook and Teams. But not if I snapshot the whole page, and not if I snapshot part of a detailed plan sheet. The letter had no digital signatures while the plan sheet had a Bluebeam digital signature - but that signature could be copied and pasted with a focused Snapshot so it may not be the factor prohibiting paste.
Is this a limitation placed by MS on Teams and Outlook image file size or other characteristics?
