I would like to be able to use the cycle layer functions that are currently locked to the surface dial hardware.
It seems that since this functionality already exists, it would be trivial to add commands that allow these functions to be bound to other shortcut keys.
It seems odd that this is locked to a particular bit of hardware.
We use layers extensively as structural engineers to run loads and structural elements up and down the building. A key binding to efficiently cycle through layers would be invaluable.
