Working with really large PDF sets, sometimes it seems performance may be hindered by a set with layers that were exported from the originating software, i.e. AutoCAD. It would be nice if there was a merge layers option to bring all layers to one.
Does layers work with sets? I created a layer on one sheet, then tried adding that layer to another sheet, but it's not available to add. It only has the option to create new.
You can create Layer Configurations to control the layers within a PDF but that must be done manually for each PDF currently. I would like a way to import and export these configurations. Several Municipalities are requesting the PDF's be Unlocked so they can mark-up and add their stamps. Much to Engineers sealed drawings, they do not want them unlocked.
