My company's been asked to transition historically CAD based work to BBR to facilitate end user utility. To that end, over the past few years we have created toolsets to mimic our CAD blocks for valves, pumps, vessels, etc. One of the really useful aspects of CAD (and a welcomed addition to BBR) is the ability to snap to a grid of definable size. This works great in BBR for lines, but not so well for grouped items used to mimic CAD blocks. The toolsets are incredibly valuable, but would be even more so if we could define a location for the anchor point of a set of grouped items. Right now that point is defined by BBR and we cannot find a way to move or redefine it.
I've included below a snip of the type of work I'm referring to. Everything on this page that isn't a line, is a group of items we've created with wipeouts and editable text so that they can be placed seamlessly over a line.
We would very much appreciate the addition of modifiable anchor points to grouped items in BBR. Thank you for all your efforts to date to increase the utility of BBR!
