Can't rotate and line up

I’m new to Bluebeam so quite raw, I’ve inherited somebody else’s toolbox, and I’m not allowed to change the items within the toolbox (company policy), so my reason for writing is within my toolbox there are lots of rectangles which I can’t rotate to line up with diagonal lines on my drawing templates i.e. school buildings is there something I can do to get this to happen. First make sure they are not locked.

what exactly is happening?
Can you rotate them at all, or do they rotate to 45° increments?
If its just a case of lining them up, hold your shift key down to move it 1° increments instead of on the orthogonal axis

Something else you might try is double clicking the markup and put it in Properties Mode, that way you can place your markup however you see fit.

PROTECTED PDF'S
Hey guys, my name is sam, fairly new user. I was sent a set of pdf's that are scale protected, so blue beam will not work is there a way to unlock these at my end or do I need to reach out to the engineers to unlock? thanks
PDF converting to TIFF creates a black line
There is a black line that appears when converting from PDF to TIFF. It normally blacks out the title block but have had it black out parts of drawings recently. Is there any way to prevent this black line?
