On Windows, some PDF previews appear in my folders sidebar while others do not. It seems like the ones I created show a preview, but the externally generated ones don't. Is there a setting I can change to make all PDFs show a preview?
Hello Luke, I am not certain this is a Bluebeam security issue, it may be a setting on your machine that is blocking the preview from external documents, but you can try this… make sure you have the box checked withing Revu settings to enable PDF Preview. You will find this under the Revu Pulldown > Preferences > Interface > Show preview of PDF. This may help, can't hurt to give it a try, right.
Thanks. I looked at that, and mine is checked. I'm pretty sure it is a Windows issue; I was just hoping someone knew which issue. It seems I can preview PDFs I generate, but not PDFs I receive. It may be that the blocked PDFs were created outside of Bluebeam, so they are missing the metadata that makes mine visible.
I'd find a Bluebeam PDF example here and see what happens.
