Creating and Navigating 3D Drawings
- Viewing 3D Drawings:
- Click on the “3D Drawings” button to view a model based on the floor plans and elevations in your project.
- To view specific parts of the model, use control-click to select elements like walls and floors, then drag to explore the 3D view.
- Overlay and Comparison Features:
- Perform overlay comparisons by control-clicking to select multiple floors, then pressing the comparison button.
- You can also overlay a floor plan with a mechanical plan by selecting both and using the comparison view for context.
Additional Features and Tools
- Connecting Elevation Elements:
- At the start of a project, your sheets might already have some elevation elements added by the AI.
- To connect additional elevation symbols, select an unassigned elevation symbol and choose from the available elevation plans. Press “link” to associate the symbol with the selected plan.
- Linking Floors and Elevations:
- Within an elevation drawing, select an unlinked elevation and link it to a specific floor plan. This will integrate the selected elevation into the 3D model.
