We use MassDOT, RIDOT and other standardized status conditions, so we have something like 20 different status options for markup items.
Bluebeam allows multiple statuses to be added to any one comment, and tracks the time/date/user the status changes.
Turning on 'Filter List' allows us to focus on certain statuses, but there are 2 problems:
-the only Filtering Rule options are "equals" or "does not equal," which means there is no "contains" or "does not contain," "includes," "does not include," etc.
-the only Filtering Values available are the standard BlueBeam options, i.e., the 15+ statuses that we have to use for state compliance are not available in the filter list.
The consequences of this are:
- with only the 2 Filtering Rules, any markups with more than one status set must be found with "and" filters that exactly match those statuses, there is no available way to find all "complete" markups at once if any of them have been marked "accepted," too, because there's no combination options besides And & Or- there's no wildcard.
-There's no way to filter based on alternative/added statuses, so the state-mandated statuses can't be used to find, say, any "Clarification Required" Markups.
I believe that the "Filtering Rules" should at the very least allow for "contains/does not contain," and/or similar wildcard/multiple options, and include "Filtering Values" that are utilized in the current document.
