Good morning, If anyone has Spectacle Blinds and a Spacer tools, could you please share them with me? I need to mark up P&IDs in Bluebeam for the Oil and Gas industry. Thank you.
Hi all, does anyone know how to disable the warning message that comes up when opening documents that use Java Script, when JavaScript is disabled (intentionally)? A bit annoying as there's no "don't tell me again" option to select and I'm currently working with a mix of docs which have some JavaScript features, while also…
Hi all, is it possible to set a circle measurement to a specific radius or diametre? rather than having to click and drag to adjust? IE is there an input box that allows me to add a length as the one with the tool is greyed out Thanks
When you have a bluebeam session with large amounts of attendees. It would like life easier if there was a way to copy or export the emails, better than copy then many times one by one, I know there is an option for creating group, but sometimes you have to do that with different way.
I have a schedule exported to PDF with lots of data. Oddly, some of the data fields that are exported from the scheduling tool are not fully recognized as text by Bluebeam. For example, a unique task ID number of 'E-60-AR-1234' exists, but is not found in search. Additionally, if I attempt to copy that ID number, upon…
Are there any new features now in Revu 21.5 version? Please let us know if there are any useful functional improvements.
In my program, forms do not always keep their formatting, I.E. color, font type, font size, etc. This appears to be an intermittent issue, where, in the initial document, it will appear like the formatting was accepted, but if I go to print the PDF, the text does not show as it is formatted. I often have to clear the…
I use the highlighter to mark completed changes on revision sheets. Whenever it encounters text, the highlighter changes to a text insertion point. Is there a way to prevent this from happening, so it stays on "highlight only?" I have tried holding down the CNTL key, but this only works part of the time. Thanks, Josh
The session feature is inconvenient because it restricts users from editing markups created by others. It would be helpful to have a function that allows only authorized users to edit them. Does such a feature exist?
I have upgraded from 2018 to version 21. I use a lot of grouped images and found with this version when I change the line color, the software automatically changes the line size of items that were 0.0 to 1.0. This is forcing me to ungroup images and manually correct the line sizes back to 0.0. Defaults and toolbox is not…

Please add folders within sessions for document organization. This will make navigating to the documents within a session cleaner and easier as documents within a session can add up and be cumbersome to have to search through to find what the user is trying to open. This feature would be greatly appreciated by all. Thank…
Hi all, my name is Aily, and I'm the Manager of Customer Education at Bluebeam - nice to meet you! I want to learn how you prefer to train, onboard, or up-skill your internal employees on everything Bluebeam, so I can make sure we're allocating the right resources to the right kinds of training (aka help me help you!). If…
On the Bluebeam website, under "Resources" > "Need an older version of Revu?" there is only v20 and older. This needs new options, like v21.6. Currently the need for this is high, because v21.7 has a highly annoying "new feature" while drawing polylines, areas and contour and area measurement. Something goes visually wrong…
I just installed version 21.4 this morning on a second work machine, and encountered the common problem of Print to Bluebeam being broken during install. I resolved the problem using the following steps (Windows 11, 64 bit). I have admin privileges, so make sure you can make such changes before starting. I can't guarantee…
While I wait for the influx of new members from the PHX/NorCal bug webinar I thought I'd ask about your experience with making custom hatches and line styles in Bluebeam (the topic of the webinar). There were some great examples of custom hatches and lines that made a lot of sense for those users. One was a civil office…
If you've ever had to place a symbol on a drawing more than three times, you've probably wondered, "I wish I didn't have to keep clicking on the symbol every time I want to place it." I have great news for you 😀 The Reuse Tools option keeps that tool selected for placing as many instances of a symbol as you need! There are…
Did you know that double-clicking a Bluebeam Revu Profile (.bpx file) automatically opens Revu and imports the profile for you? This is the quickest and easiest way to have a User import a Profile. It is a very low impact for our non-technical friends and co-workers. 😅 It is much better than explaining how to click the…
I should be able to post a link here and have it take you to a Bluebeam session and a specific file within it. http:// (session URL) / file I should be able to link to a markup even as well. Why isn't this in Bluebeam yet? It's so frustrating that we (in multiple workplaces I've been at) have to say "hey folks we posted…
I would like another option for locking that allows for a shapes dimensions to be locked, but still be able to move the shape / sketch around. An example of this would be a toggle for "dimension lock" where I could trace the outline of a building and rotate / move it around a site or property without accidentally changing…
I have used BlueBeam Revu to create piping isometric drawings. However, this process takes a very long time and is painstaking because currently Revu only allows you to snap to 45° or 90°. If there was an option to turn on snapping to 15° increments, it would allow for much cleaner and faster creation/marking up of piping…
