Hi. I'm always looking for ways to maximize my file viewing space and for the life of me I am unable to find a way to remove/hide/relocate the "file name" and its lengthy blank horizontal space from my setup. Below is a screen shot of what I am talking about: I'd appreciate if anyone knows how this area can be removed or…
I have most of my tools set up exactly how I want them and saved. However, every once in a while a tool will go missing or will be moved into another tool set. This might be user error, but I think a way to "lock" tool sets to prevent moving/deleting tools would be helpful!
When I select the measure functions such as length, perimeter and area the background of the drawing turns blue. This makes it very difficult to measure and hides the detail in the drawing. How do I remove the blue background?
I created a small script that allows a Form Button to change from a blank button to a filled circle or an open circle (each click cycles through the options). Works great, except that when I copy the button, the JavaScript action doesn’t come with. Does anyone know of a way to apply a script action to multiple buttons, or…
I've added a custom column (check mark) to the Markups List. However, when I add a pdf to a BB session none of my co-workers can check/uncheck the check box. I had them add the profile it was saved to when creating but still nothing. Anyone know where I went wrong?
I would like to start out by saying I am a relatively new user on Bluebeam who has been strictly using it for quantity takeoffs for exterior cladding. I have done a deep dive or even begun to grasp the resources or features at my disposal, so if my question seems basic that's just my understanding level right now. I do…
I'm looking for a way to combine specific symbols from different disciplines into a single plan. Our project requires coring and trenching an existing concrete slab. My goal is to overlay all the symbols for any slab item so we can have a comprehensive demo plan. I would need to grab just the floor outlet symbols from the…
When a Polylength markup is saved to the Tool Chest and set to "Properties Mode", the measurement does not scale correctly when used on a drawing with a different scale than the original drawing it was created on. In previous versions (specifically, this was working correctly in Revu 21.7), the tool in properties mode…
Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to overlay markup across pages in a way that when a change is made on one page, all the other pages update. This would be exceptionally useful when planning routes of pipes etc between floors. (Bluebeam Revu) Any help would be much appreciated!
Hi All, I am trying to add revised sheets to my Set(.bex) using Batch Slip Sheet. The problem is when I hit the Match Pages button I am receiving error messages (See images below). I believe the problem is coming from BB including previously revised sheets in the Current Files column of the Match Pages window. Am I doing…

Please add folders within sessions for document organization. This will make navigating to the documents within a session cleaner and easier as documents within a session can add up and be cumbersome to have to search through to find what the user is trying to open. This feature would be greatly appreciated by all. Thank…
Hi all, my name is Aily, and I'm the Manager of Customer Education at Bluebeam - nice to meet you! I want to learn how you prefer to train, onboard, or up-skill your internal employees on everything Bluebeam, so I can make sure we're allocating the right resources to the right kinds of training (aka help me help you!). If…
On the Bluebeam website, under "Resources" > "Need an older version of Revu?" there is only v20 and older. This needs new options, like v21.6. Currently the need for this is high, because v21.7 has a highly annoying "new feature" while drawing polylines, areas and contour and area measurement. Something goes visually wrong…
I just installed version 21.4 this morning on a second work machine, and encountered the common problem of Print to Bluebeam being broken during install. I resolved the problem using the following steps (Windows 11, 64 bit). I have admin privileges, so make sure you can make such changes before starting. I can't guarantee…
While I wait for the influx of new members from the PHX/NorCal bug webinar I thought I'd ask about your experience with making custom hatches and line styles in Bluebeam (the topic of the webinar). There were some great examples of custom hatches and lines that made a lot of sense for those users. One was a civil office…
If you've ever had to place a symbol on a drawing more than three times, you've probably wondered, "I wish I didn't have to keep clicking on the symbol every time I want to place it." I have great news for you 😀 The Reuse Tools option keeps that tool selected for placing as many instances of a symbol as you need! There are…
Did you know that double-clicking a Bluebeam Revu Profile (.bpx file) automatically opens Revu and imports the profile for you? This is the quickest and easiest way to have a User import a Profile. It is a very low impact for our non-technical friends and co-workers. 😅 It is much better than explaining how to click the…
I would like another option for locking that allows for a shapes dimensions to be locked, but still be able to move the shape / sketch around. An example of this would be a toggle for "dimension lock" where I could trace the outline of a building and rotate / move it around a site or property without accidentally changing…
I know that Bluebeam makes it difficult to select a markup that is under another markup—try selecting a markup four levels deep! BUT! I ran a demo today, and a 💡 went off in my head. Can I make a Keyboard Shortcut from the R21.2 Hide selected markup feature and use it to quickly hide obscuring markups to get to the markup…
Would it be possible to create an additional option under "Manage Toolsets" to edit the columns in the Tool Chest? Such as renaming or disabling which ones are not used. And that the columns are also extended as soon as they are extended to the right and do not become narrower again
