Import Layers from Excel for Efficient Take-Offs
I would like to suggest a feature that would greatly enhance productivity in Bluebeam Revu. It would be extremely beneficial to have the ability to import a list of layers from an Excel file directly into Revu. Use Case: I currently manage an Excel file that contains a detailed list of items for estimation, each of which…

Ability to insert count value manually
Ability to insert/change the value of count tool manually. We have situations where a value, for example 86 pcs is written on the design, and instead of clicking with count tool 86 times would like to be able to change the value of the count to 86. So I'm looking for a similar function as the length tool has with rise/drop…

Rotatable Custom Counts
We use pictograms for a number of our custom counts and some of them are direction-specific. The ability to rotate custom counts would be an excellent feature. Example: A piece of strut with a box designating a certain type of structural point. In order to achieve this layout I had to create two separate Custom Counts, one…

Snapping to the intersection of two Line markups
When we create a Length tool and need it to land in an "empty" area, we tried to create two lines that intersected at the proper ending location. The Length tool didn't snap to the intersection between lines. We made sure to turn on "Snap to Markup", but it didn't work.

Lighting Design and Sales
I am a designer for a lighting representative firm. We use AGI to create the lighting layouts and then Bluebeam to make notes, do take-offs, and create a submittal package. Is anyone else using Bluebeam in a similar way? Thanks Lisa

Have you used the new Label feature that lets you put any Markup List Column data?
I just created a ToolSet for steel framing where I used a Custom Column to display the Steel Member Size on the Markup Dimension (what I use for Steel Framing) on the PDF. This worked great because I used a Choice Custom Column to filter the different sizes into different categories based on the Markups Subject name. I am…

How to create offset lines
Revu doesn't have an offset feature that really works but you can use custom line styles to create a guide line to work to - not only does this work for straight lines but also basically any shape that you need to work to.

Tool Chest Advanced Recents
I think being adding a section in the Tool Chest that shows the markups used on the current document you are on. This would serve a similar but in my opinion more beneficial purpose as the current Recent Tools section. Also, with the current recent tools secion, having the ability to use the detail view and not just the…

Tool Chest Search/Filter
I think, especially for those who have robust Tool Chests saved, it would be very beneficial to have a search bar at the bottom or top to filter down the tools. We are a steel company with lots of W, HSS, C, L etc. measurements saved. Being able to search W12, for example, and see all the relevant members come up to…

Offset measurement for excavation
In construction projects, precise measurements are crucial, especially when preparing the foundation of a building. An offset is used to create a boundary around the structure, typically extending 1.8 meters from the building's perimeter. This offset allows for the necessary workspace for construction excavation. By…

More Built-In count Symbols
It would be useful to have more than 5 built-in count symbols to use. I commonly have to use re-use built-in symbols and use different colors when having 10 built-in symbols would be much better. Thanks.
