π Bluebeam Max Arrives
Bluebeam Max officially launched this spring, bringing AI-powered workflows to Revu and introducing one of our biggest releases of the year. From Revu connected to AI via Model Context Protocol (MCP), Smart Overlay, and Smart Review to markup and document tools, Max is designed to help teams work faster while keeping users in control. Since launch, we've also continued delivering improvements across many of these features. Here's a look at what's included in Bluebeam Max, along with some of the latest enhancements.

π€ Revu connected to AI via MCP
With Revu support for the MCP connector (Model Context Protocol), Bluebeam Max users can connect Revu 21.9 or later to a supported AI model and use natural-language prompts for document analysis, summaries, markup workflows, and more. Since launch, MCP has expanded with targeted search, making it easier to find exactly what you're looking for, along with markup placement and editing, allowing you to use AI to drop the first round of markups on your drawing set before you start your review. We also improved how MCP handles locked markups, ensuring protected content stays locked when executing prompts.

Magic Markups
Magic Markups introduce faster ways to modify existing annotations without starting from scratch. Duplicate As lets you quickly create a different markup from an existing one, Convert To transforms one markup type into another while preserving its information, and Offset automatically creates parallel markups with consistent spacing β saving time during repetitive design and review work.

π§ Smart Review
Smart Review, a Bluebeam Max feature currently in Preview, uses AI-assisted checks to identify design issues, scope gaps, and discrepancies in drawing sets. Since launch, we've expanded Smart Review with door checks, which automatically identify mismatches between plans and schedules, including missing schedules, duplicate tags, and inconsistencies between drawings. It's another way AI helps catch issues before they reach the field.

𧩠Stitching
Stitching makes it easy to assemble multiple drawings into a single workspace. Since launch, we've added adjustable text sizing for regions and matchlines, giving you greater control over readability when working with large drawing sets.

ποΈ Also in Revu 21.10: Session Restoration, Revit 2027, & New Language Profiles
Revu 21.10 also includes several quality-of-life improvements across Studio and CAD integrations. Hosts can now restore deleted Studio Sessions and files directly from the Studio panel, while Connected Sessions now support Revit 2027 along with Autodesk 2027 plugins for AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks. We also introduced localized QTO and Worksite Planning profiles for Spanish, Norwegian, and Polish, making these workflows more accessible to teams around the world.

π Org Admin Pro Now Locks in Attendee Access, Org-Wide
Org Admin Pro admins can set an org-wide Attendee Access rule (Attendees Restricted or Attendees Not Restricted) for every Studio Project and Session. Once an admin sets it, it's enforced everywhere and the host's own setting becomes read-only. Find it under Project Detail (or Session Detail) > About > Attendee Access. If an admin hasn't set an override, hosts keep managing access themselves as before (Host Controlled).

π Document Basics
Bluebeam Web continues to expand beyond markup and collaboration with new document-building tools. You can now create blank PDFs, insert pages from other documents, reorder or rotate pages, and remove pages you no longer need all directly from your browser. Whether you're on a shared computer, in the field, or away from your primary workstation, it's an easy way to build and organize documents without installing Revu.
π Session Status
Collaboration also got an upgrade with Session Status now available in Bluebeam Web. You can see whether attendees are Reviewing, Waiting, or Finished directly from the Attendees panel or Sessions List, with statuses automatically syncing between Revu and Bluebeam Web. Custom Statuses remain viewable on the web, with additional enhancements planned in upcoming releases.

π± Bluebeam Mobile: Tool Sets & Capture Come to iPhone, Cloud+ Comes to Android
Bluebeam Mobile continues to grow with improvements across both iOS and Android. On iPhone and iPad, Tool Sets are now available for the first time, alongside easier Polyline editing and one-tap markup status updates. Android users can now use Cloud+ markups in Sessions, Projects, and Local Files with real-time synchronization during live Sessions. Both platforms also introduce a new Account Hub for managing your Bluebeam account and a simplified app name across the App Store and Google Play.

π οΈ Developer Portal Enhancements: Sandbox, Test Requests, & a Cleaner My Apps
We've refreshed the Developer Portal to make managing applications easier, with a redesigned My Apps page, clearer Redirect URI formatting, and new columns that make it easier to see important app details at a glance. This release also introduces a Sandbox environment for testing before production, in-document Test Requests, keyword search across API documentation, and the official release of the Markups API. Automated onboarding now also grants eligible users access at login based on their subscription.

π Bluebeam Max in the Classroom & New Bluebeam University Lessons
Bluebeam Max is now available through the Academic Program, giving eligible students and educators access to AI-powered workflows while also allowing academic licenses to be renewed annually. Behind the scenes, improvements to our academic verification process make it faster and more reliable to get started. Bluebeam University also continues to expand with a new Studio Sessions for Administrators lesson focused on Session restore and the new Bluebeam Certified Studio Management Exam, giving administrators another way to build and validate their expertise.
