Can anyone tell me the status of Toolsets for Mobile? I see the feature on there, toolsets actually work.

Yes, Tool Sets are available on the Bluebeam Mobile iOS app now. I’ve seen them working with imported .BTX tool sets as well. If you can see the Tool Sets option but the tools aren’t actually working, I’d make sure the app is updated and the tool set has been imported properly. It’s still a fairly new feature, but definitely a useful addition for taking our custom tools into the field. Thank You

We released the first version of Tool Sets for iOS in July. If you update to the latest version, you’ll find Tool Sets on the left side on iPad, or under the floating + button on iPhone when the file is ready for editing.
Today, Tool Sets support markups included in our current supported markup list: https://support.bluebeam.com/bluebeam-cloud/how-to/create-and-edit-markups-ios.html
If a tool from your imported BTX file is greyed out and marked “Unsupported,” it contains one or more markup types we don’t support yet. If you happen to see unsupported tools in your list, I’d be curious to know which markup types you’re using and need most.
We’re expanding markup support in Q4, which will allow more Tool Chest content to be used, including markup types like Stamps.

From the description on their website, these appear to use markup types like ellipses, text boxes, and polylines. However, because this is a third-party Tool Set, we’d need to understand how the actual tools are constructed to know for sure what is causing them to show as unsupported.
If you place one of the tools on a PDF in Revu, you may be able to ungroup it and see the individual markup types that make up the tool. If you can share what those components are, I can help narrow down what mobile support is missing today.
We’re continuing to expand markup support in upcoming releases, so this is useful feedback for us.
I create a lot of my own tools within Revu, some created by using the baseline toolsets while others include images gathered with the snapshot tool. When importing them to the cloud version on iPad, the majority are shown as unsupported, but the mix of accepted seems random, e.g. one grab bar type created with the baseline tools is accepted, but another created the same way is not; some with images are accepted and some are not. Also, the names I've given each tool does not transfer. I'm open to providing what I have to you, if it might assist in helping future releases. As it stands currently, not having my created toolsets (or my third party toolsets) renders the cloud version very difficult to work with. Thanks

Thanks for offering to share your Tool Sets. We’re targeting a November update that adds support for several markup types that currently show as unsupported. I’d be happy to test your BTX file against our internal build to see which tools work and investigate why others, or their names, don’t transfer as expected. We have the same issues with our custom tool sets. The majority of them are nothing more than a poly shape with a text box inside to create the symbol. The poly shape is also filled with color. The very few that do come into Bluebeam cloud are just titled "group", it doesn't even recognize the name.

Polyline shapes aren’t supported in the current editor, but we expect to add support in the November release.
For the tools appearing as “Group,” are you naming them through the tool’s Subject field in Revu, or using another field? That will help us understand why the expected name isn’t appearing.
Yes, we have named them through the settings-subject. I took a screenshot of a typical device and the settings.
It does look like something has been updated, only a few of these symbols appeared when I wrote the original but now almost all show up and the most of the names are now showing as well. We tried these symbols since they were more simplified. A few now show a title of "Line" instead of group. The highlighted symbol is what is shown above.
This is what our other symbols now look like with some showing line as the title.

Thanks for sharing these details. From your screenshot, it looks like you’re using the web app at app.bluebeam.com. We’re overhauling the editor to support more tools and address many of the current limitations. That update is planned for iOS and Android in November 2026, followed by the web app in Q1 2027.
