I am a roofing estimator that uses different colour markups to denote green, blue, brown roofing etc. I previously had my area measurement > appearance > fill colour > highlight check box ticked so the information in the PDF under the markups was still visible, and it was showing the markup icon fine in the legend. I am not sure what has changed but recently I have opened drawings that previously looked fine, but now the markup icon in the legend is extremely small, and only goes to the correct size when I uncheck the 'highlight' checkbox. I would welcome any advice on this - I know I can adjust the fill opacity but it feels like more of a workaround than a fix.
I have resolved this - it was the 2D rendering preference 'use page content pictures (preview)'
