Little workflow tip that saves me time and storage space. Whenever I'm sending a drawing that needs a slight markup, whether its for a quote, answering a question, or anything else, I skip saving a separate file first. I attach the PDF in Outlook, double click it right in the draft to open it in Bluebeam, make my markups, flatten it if I want it locked in, save, close, and send. The markups go out with the email.
Outlook is actually opening that attachment from a temp folder in AppData, so saving there updates the same file that gets sent. No extra version sitting on my desktop to clean up later.
Only tried this in desktop Outlook so far. Anyone know if it works the same in Gmail, Outlook web, or the New Outlook?
