Markup Filter Not Dimming Non-Filtered Markups in Revu 21.9

We are using Bluebeam Revu 21.9 for drawing coordination and have custom statuses that change markup colors.

On my computer, when I filter the Markups List by color, the non-filtered markups on the PDF are automatically grayed/dimmed, making the selected color easy to identify.

On another team member’s computer, using the same Revu version (21.9), filtering by color does not visually change or dim the non-filtered markups at all. The Filtered Annotation Dim setting only changes the darkness level and does not resolve the issue.

Has anyone experienced this or know of another setting that controls whether non-filtered markups are visually dimmed?

Hi Karma , hope you are well doing

It sounds like the 'Filtered Annotation Dim' setting is being recognized, but the visual dimming isn't being applied. I'd compare both users' Revu Preferences (especially under Interface and Markups), and also check whether any graphics acceleration or rendering settings differ between the two machines. If all settings match, it may be a profile specific issue or a bug in 21.9. Resetting the Revu profile or testing with a fresh profile could help narrow it down.
