Universal cut and paste command, but into a file in a bluebeam session

I have talked with tech support about this current feature a while ago but there is a feature / command to cut and paste an entire files red marks from one file into another exact copy of that file, just transferring red marks.

Only issue was, it is not turned on for use in a bluebeam session. I was told Bluebeam might look into it if enough people brought it up but I think most of the Bluebeam Users may not be aware of this immense time saving command. We just need it to work in a session.

Of course you would still need to go back into a session file and fiddle with your markups to fix where they may have stepped on others comments but that's part of the deal and should be expected. You already fix these things when you do a single page cut and paste already.

So, I implore Bluebeam, and with Community support, to activate this major time saver command for use in sessions.

The world of Consultants, Architects, and Engineers would thank you for all the time saved to be put to use on other pressing needs instead of a drafting cut and paste exercise.

Feedback accepted if anyone knows if this was activated already or if not, please help me press Bluebeam to get it done. I look to always work smarter and not harder. This seems like a no-brainer to me anyway…

This is important, it is very common to receive markup comments from a reviewer outside of a session and there is no easy way to add them into the formal Bluebeam review session. Bluebeam should permit the session owner to import comments from someone else 1:1 on identical files in the session. It would be nice if that import would maintain the original markup metadata (date, author, status, etc), but I could see that being abused so it's more likely when it is brought in they would all have the session owner/importers name as author and date being when it was imported.

A brute force method which is a last resort is to set up something like AutoIT with each file open on separate screens; and automate a script which focuses on the external file, select-all, copy, focus on the session file, ctrl-shift-paste, page down both files and continue the whole length of the file. It is tedious and slow, and sometimes very laggy in rendering so the delay between operations needs to be generous or some pages will be skipped. So that process takes 10 to 20 sec per page and on a large set that will dedicate a computer for an hour or more plus time for verification afterwards to make sure it worked correctly.
