My work involves constantly enabling and then disabling this feature. It would be nice if there was a button or toggle that did not have to be accessed from going to your Preferences window.
Good news @Conway Carruthers, this feature already exists!
If you'd like to include your markups in your snip launch the snipping tool by pressing the "G" key.
If you don't want to include your markups in your snip launch the snipping tool by holding down the "shift" key then pressing the "G" key.

I agree. If it's a feature you switch on and off throughout the day, having to open Preferences every time really slows the workflow. A customizable toolbar button or quick toggle would make it much faster and improve productivity for users who frequently use this setting
