I would love to be able "reference" layers into a combined PDF. We have workflows where we plot individual sets of data as a single PDF and combine that into a 'master' PDF as a layer. These layers update frequently, and instead of having to replace the layer manually, if I just overwrote the individual PDF with a new plot, and that data automatically updated in my combined PDF, that would save us a bunch of time.
