I loved this idea and was super excited about it until I was told by technical support that in order to get unlimited use for this I would need a separate Claude subscription. Now I just think it's a waste of time and money. I've already been utilizing ChatGPT for what you are advertising MAX to be used for and I don't pay $150/yr more to Bluebeam with another $19/month or $100/month subscription to Claude. I will stick to ChatGPT but would love for AI to actually be integrated into Bluebeam one day. The work around with Claude as a separate app is not the move.

I completely understand your perspective, and I appreciate the honest feedback. A lot of users are asking the same questions right now around how the Claude connection works with Bluebeam MAX.

To clarify, you can absolutely get started using the free version of Claude, but depending on how heavily you use it, you may run into limitations around usage, file sizes, and available tokens. I also understand the hesitation around adding another subscription when tools like ChatGPT are already part of your workflow. The value Bluebeam is aiming for with MAX is tighter workflow interaction directly tied to drawings, markups, and construction-specific processes, but I completely respect your point that today it still relies on an external AI platform rather than being fully native inside Revu itself.

I do think your feedback is valuable and honestly reflects what many users want to see in the future: true AI functionality built directly into Bluebeam without needing another application alongside it.

Is there a way to use Copilot or Github Copilot instead of Claude? Our organisation has strict data sovereignty requirements which Anthropic doesn't meet. Only Copilot has been approved for use across our org. I've already had interest from multiple people keen to get Max.

Right now the primary AI workflow Bluebeam built and documented is centered around Anthropic Claude because of how Claude handles large-context document analysis and MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations.

The good news is this space is moving very quickly. I would not be surprised to see additional AI providers supported later
