Split All by default?

Is there a way to have count measurement tools in toolsets default to being split when being placed via mouse clicks?

(My work around is to click one item into the plan, then Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V for all remaining copies — that way they will all be separate instances, and not grouped down in the parentheses of the Subjects in the Markups List.)

Can you explain more what you are trying to accomplish? I don't understand the point of using the "count" tool at all if you just want to split the counts up.

You can just make a standard non-scaled markup to get grouped counts of 1 by drawing a shape then adding it to a tool bar in "drawing" mode. The "measurement" is listed as count, but you can't "Resume Count" like with a "count" measurement. For example:

Second this.  I use BB for Telecom takeoffs.  Most projects have combinations of 1, 2, 3, 4 port data drops.  I use the count of markups to provide my location quantities for faceplate counts.  It is a manual step to split all on each page.
