is Bluebeam going to add more tools to the cloud based app? such as stamp, measure/dimension and count.
Hi @owen_archmill,
Bluebeam’s web, iOS, and Android apps are at different stages of development and are serving slightly different user needs today, so tool availability will vary by platform for a while.
Dimensions and Stamps are on our roadmap across platforms, but they’re not part of our immediate H1 2026 priorities. Our next priority will be Tool Chest with Tool Set importing for bringing your custom markups on the go, and Capturing features needed for site observations and punch reports.

Shawn Dawson Staff Product Manager Bluebeam
@Shawn Dawson, do you have an ETA on when you will be adding these items for the session part for the ipad. i know you mentioned next month, do you have an exact week? thanks!
Hey @owen_archmill, we're targeting the 3rd week of February, which should fall on (or around) Wednesday, 2/18.
Hi @Shawn Dawson, any updated timeline on the iOS measurements?
Hi @CCalladine, iOS measurements v1 are now live! Please note: measurements are currently only available from Studio Projects and Local PDF editing. We're rolling out an update next month that brings measurements into Sessions.
Amazing timing,
Thanks Shawn!
When is it anticipated to add capability of digitally signing drawings in Studio? I was hoping to be able to stamp and sign drawings on an ipad.
Hey @IBS, Stamps are on the roadmap, more advanced tools like Stamps and Snapshots are targeted for 2027. The ability to fill out PDF signature fields was just released back in December. We still have more broad general-use features that we're focused on this year like Measurements (released today), Tool Sets, and Image Capturing, as well as some critical navigation improvements for juggling multiple files.
Some of the BB marked up PDFs I receive have shading and "draw order" out of whack to the point that I cannot read what's below the block. All of the items should come in like the "12' APPLES" unit, in orange. Any thoughts? The preferred "Order" would be with the shading at the base level and the pasted fixture block above.

Hello!! I have been using Bluebeam for a decent while, and anything I have trouble with I can usually sort out on my own, but I am stumped. We have a set of plans, all of which are images with a peach-coloured background. To save on ink, I need to change them to grayscale, ideally. Please see the attached screenshot. It…
On Windows, some PDF previews appear in my folders sidebar while others do not. It seems like the ones I created show a preview, but the externally generated ones don't. Is there a setting I can change to make all PDFs show a preview?
Has anyone had issues logging into Studio after upgrading to 21.9? I have a team member who can't get logged into Studio but can use everything else. Only thing he's done differently is upgrade. Thanks!
Is there anyway to customize keyboard short cuts for say the highlighter function? I would like to be able to have these for different colors.
Creating PDFS stopped working. Any ideas to fix?
I have a document that I have in Studio. If I open it on my ipad. Sign it. Save to file. Signature is not there when I open the file on my pc? Any ideas what is happening?
