Hi,
On 07/01/2025, I submitted a Case # 02053678: Request for a new "Batch" > "Action", to Bluebeam questions and feedback. Leelund with Bluebeam Tech Support followed up with me on 07/08/2025 and suggested that I share my idea on BB product suggestions page.
My idea is to provide BB users with a new "Batch" action, that allows users to batch delete a certain type of review or markup, after all review is complete. My supervisor requires that every highlight or pen mark is deleted, on the project plans, after each review is QA'ed (quality assurance reviewed).
My organization, the California DSA (Division of State Architect) takes this procedure so seriously, they even have a procedure, PR 18-06 "Removal of Interim Markups in Session", that requires all plan reviewers to follow it, after each review. Attached is a snippet, showing steps in Bluebeam to remove all highlights.
The process of removing highlights and pen marks is 6 steps. I was hoping that Bluebeam could create a batch function that allows all highlights to be removed in 1 or 2 clicks.
The reason the DSA removes all highlights and pen marks, prior to returning to the design professional is to make it easier for them to evaluate and understand the DSA's comments only (Textbox, Cloud +, Callout).
Thank you very much for taking the time to openly consider my suggestion, for a future Bluebeam feature. If you have any questions, or need anything else, please do not hesitate to let me know.
