hello I'm new here. I am needing to use this program to find the square footage and the baseboard perimeter of a project that I'm bidding on and I have no idea how to add it to the app or how to make it work. Can somebody please help me?
Do you have a screen shot of what you're trying to accomplish? Might I suggest watching a few videos at Bluebeam University first before you start getting into using the software. It'll help
@HollyTalbot , switch your left side panel to thumbnail views, then right click on each plan you are working with and set the scale. Hopefully they are one of the PRESETs that are typical architectural scale settings, otherwise, you can use the CALIBRATE command (second one in the pic below). Once you have scale set, all these icons will provide measurements and values for your takeoff. Examples are the POLYLINE and the POLYGON that will give area and perimeter.
Follow these links to get started after setting the scale. Area tool: https://support.bluebeam.com/online-help/revu20//Content/RevuHelp/Menus/Tools/Measure/Area--MTV.htm Perimeter tool (Core and above): https://support.bluebeam.com/online-help/revu20/Content/RevuHelp/Menus/Tools/Measure/Perimeter--MTV.htm
The area tool will actually accomplish both. While the Area tool's primary measurement is Area, it gives other dimensions as well.
The Length of an Area markups is actually the Perimeter, plus it also will give you a height and a width.(just remember that the height will always be on the y axis and the width will always be on the x axis)
As you can see, if you set up your markups list properly, you can actually achieve both of your goals with one markup.

I'm wondering if anyone has ever discovered a workaround for Revu requiring admin rights to install updates. This has become unwieldy and inconvenient for our users. I was thinking of experimenting with giving users full control on some program folders or assets but I thought I would reach out so I'm not reinventing the…

I was trying to figure out how to change the text size 1 to size 0.5 and every time I use the font size text box to change the number to 0.50 it'll default the size to 8. Is there a way to change the text size smaller then 1?
We need help. We use Bluebeam Revu to edit PDFs with stamps and text modules. At first, it worked. We work at two workstations and log in normally. For a few days now, we've been opening PDFs. When we start up, the editing bar on the page becomes active. Then it loads the PDF, and the bar becomes inactive. I've tried…
Our work laptops were running two different versions of Bluebeam, and in both of those versions, we were unable to use the Microsoft Office add-ins. We keep hearing that there is a problem with Bluebeam, and I am curious whether anyone else is having the same problem. I'm interested in learning if the problem is a…
