Better Multiple Tab/Screen Functionality

When moving a PDF file from the main BlueBeam application to another window (or second monitor), it creates a new Bluebeam tab. I would like to see it create a new separate application on my computer that I can pull up and down, as needed. Currently, if I click away on Bluebeam (with multiple tabs open on multiple monitors), those sides tabs sometimes go away or sometimes stay. I would like those separate tabs become their own window application that isn't tied to the main Bluebeam application running.

Hello @Tom Perun, thank you for this detailed piece of feedback. I believe I understand the problem you are trying to solve. If you shift+click the Bluebeam app icon on your desktop you should be able to open another instance of the application. And if you close one of the application instances the other should stay open. Please let me know if this helps you, or if there is something more that would help.

The creating of a new instance of the Bluebeam app doesn't allow you to drag files you are working on between the two. There is not functionality between the two instances.

With what Tom was saying, it would be more beneficial if you were to drag a file you are working on to a different monitor and all the options to edit still showed up and the two instances were tied together so that when you clicked on one file it doesn't bring both files over all other apps I have up.

Currently we are unable to open a pdf file in a new window without having to open a new application of Revu . It would be a nice feature if we could have Bluebeam files open up exactly the way multiple Excel files open up .

Please get this added! We use to use Adobe Pro and dragging a tab to a new screen added all the functionality (page toggle, etc.) to the new window. Now I have to constantly go back to the originating screen to change the page on the second window when reviewing two PDFs at one time. I use bluebeam studio a lot so don't want to open two bluebeam sessions as it seems to log me off one of them.

Our company is split on using Adobe Pro and Bluebeam as Adobe has the multi tab/screen functionality, but Bluebeam is better for markups. Half of our company use one and the other uses Adobe. I think if this feature was developed there would be no need to use Adobe Pro and most would switch to Bluebeam.
