Hello, I ran into a bug when using the spaces tool. The spaces tool is a great tool that I discovered a few weeks ago. Being able to mark an area, color code it, name it, and drop different shapes/components in the space and it automatically assigns it to the space is an amazing feature. The only problem is when someone…
I use notes to create RFI's that I can export as a .csv from multiple documents that generate a .xlsx spreadsheet that has column headers of, Subject (RFI, Clarifications, Exclusions) / Page Label / Comments / File Name / With a column that I create titled "Answers, Directives, and Acknowledgements ↓" all using the…
Hello All, We have been having an ongoing issue of Bluebeam crashing when we first open the software. We are currently using Revu 20. After multiple attempts it will eventually run. Has anyone else experienced this and have a solution?
Attempting to automate certain functions but running into problems when creating page labels. ORC doesn't seem to work for me in those cases where the architect decides to use creative page labeling. I'll get strange characters or nothing at all. Has anyone found a solution for this type of problem?
Hello, We are a global company and have found turnaround times for new licenses from the Bluebeam resellers we have used so far is too long for our business needs. Luckily the internal deployment was easy to streamline, but the licenses are causing delays. Typical delivery time is 3 business days once quote is signed by…
I did a quick search here and I was not able to find that this was asked here. But was BB recently updated to have the "repeat last" command? and if not, is there a plan to add this?
Does anyone know why you cannot access a recently closed file from the File Access tab / icon? It will say that the file cannot be found. You then have to go to the File Tab and then select Open and search your Explorer Files for the document.
I am a designer for a lighting representative firm. We use AGI to create the lighting layouts and then Bluebeam to make notes, do take-offs, and create a submittal package. Is anyone else using Bluebeam in a similar way? Thanks Lisa
Hi All! Thinking of what my first post will be… here's a question. What is the timeframe of the next major release of Bluebeam? (Bluebeam 2024, Bluebeam 2025). Currently the latest Major release is Revu Bluebeam 21 still?
We use a linear markup tool to draw electrical conduit routing. But there are sections of the conduit run that are PVC, sections that are EMT, and sections that are GRC… (different conduit types). It would be great if we could use the one tool to draw out the entire run, then break that run into sections for the different…

Please add folders within sessions for document organization. This will make navigating to the documents within a session cleaner and easier as documents within a session can add up and be cumbersome to have to search through to find what the user is trying to open. This feature would be greatly appreciated by all. Thank…
Hi all, my name is Aily, and I'm the Manager of Customer Education at Bluebeam - nice to meet you! I want to learn how you prefer to train, onboard, or up-skill your internal employees on everything Bluebeam, so I can make sure we're allocating the right resources to the right kinds of training (aka help me help you!). If…
On the Bluebeam website, under "Resources" > "Need an older version of Revu?" there is only v20 and older. This needs new options, like v21.6. Currently the need for this is high, because v21.7 has a highly annoying "new feature" while drawing polylines, areas and contour and area measurement. Something goes visually wrong…
I just installed version 21.4 this morning on a second work machine, and encountered the common problem of Print to Bluebeam being broken during install. I resolved the problem using the following steps (Windows 11, 64 bit). I have admin privileges, so make sure you can make such changes before starting. I can't guarantee…
While I wait for the influx of new members from the PHX/NorCal bug webinar I thought I'd ask about your experience with making custom hatches and line styles in Bluebeam (the topic of the webinar). There were some great examples of custom hatches and lines that made a lot of sense for those users. One was a civil office…
If you've ever had to place a symbol on a drawing more than three times, you've probably wondered, "I wish I didn't have to keep clicking on the symbol every time I want to place it." I have great news for you 😀 The Reuse Tools option keeps that tool selected for placing as many instances of a symbol as you need! There are…
Did you know that double-clicking a Bluebeam Revu Profile (.bpx file) automatically opens Revu and imports the profile for you? This is the quickest and easiest way to have a User import a Profile. It is a very low impact for our non-technical friends and co-workers. 😅 It is much better than explaining how to click the…
Seeing as to how many rave reviews there AREN'T for Cloud, I wanted to come on here and list a few features that are desperately needed, and see if anyone else has insight into how the mobile version can be made as awesome as the PC version: Undo/redo button - Honestly can’t believe this is not there… dynamic editing of…
I would like another option for locking that allows for a shapes dimensions to be locked, but still be able to move the shape / sketch around. An example of this would be a toggle for "dimension lock" where I could trace the outline of a building and rotate / move it around a site or property without accidentally changing…
I know that Bluebeam makes it difficult to select a markup that is under another markup—try selecting a markup four levels deep! BUT! I ran a demo today, and a 💡 went off in my head. Can I make a Keyboard Shortcut from the R21.2 Hide selected markup feature and use it to quickly hide obscuring markups to get to the markup…
