Re: Highlight in the find/search command with a different color than blue
I would really love it if clicking on the search result resulted in the item being centered in the view window instead of in anchored in one of the four corners. The current behavior means I have to look in all four corners, and then drag/pan that region to the center of the screen so I can read everything around it. Please, just center it by default and save me the steps and frustration!
✴️ Feature Highlight: Thumbnails Panel
The Thumbnails Panel in Bluebeam Revu lets you easily view an entire document. You can jump between pages, rearrange them, rotate, delete, or even drag and drop. It’s a simple way to manage multi-page PDFs without getting lost scrolling.
Do you use the Thumbnails Panel to manage your documents or have a tip for keeping documents organized?

Reuse or Save Page Label/Bookmark Page Region selections
My issue is a question/idea but is it currently possible to save/reuse selected Page Regions made when creating new Thumbnail Page Labels or in Bookmarks.
We use the Page Labels/Bookmarks 'Page Region' feature to extract out drawing title block information, but I have to redo the same region selections for each new package we get in even though they are on the same title block each time.
We are doing a QA check to see that the supplied PDF metadata matches the supplied drawing file (and it does not in a lot of cases).
It would be great if there was a way to save a 'Page Region' selection to import if on the next set.
Re: Is it possible to compare and also overlay PDFs?
We were able to do this but we had to re-save the original files before doing the Overlay/Compare.
1. Use File → Create → From File in the menu and do this for both original files (File 1/2).
2. Create Overlay PDF and select File 1 then File 2.
3. Create Compare PDF selecting File 1 then File 2.
4. Import the Markups from the Compare '_Diff' PDF into the Overlay PDF.
Bluebeam Support initially helped find the procedure when we were having issues with markups being rotated etc.
I think the 'Create From File' cleans out all the junk from when the files were created and kind of standardises it.
We now do this almost daily now on PDFs from consultants and PDFs we have generated in AutoCAD/MicroStation/Revit.
Re: Highlight in the find/search command with a different color than blue
Hi @TDvorzsak - are you referring to the blue that appears when you select an individual search result? I do agree it can be hard to see. I will zoom in first for better visibility when going through the search results and finding their location in the document. I can see the argument for a more visible option.
As @Jes Stafford mentioned, you can apply a highlight to the result(s) that defaults to yellow but can be changed.
So, perhaps a brighter selection color other than blue or yellow?
Re: What may prevent the eyedropper tool from working?
Love this Community! This issue came up for a user in my on-site training yesterday. The colors would not be accurate while using the eyedropper. Searched Community, found this response, and it worked! Thanks @Carina!
Re: Scale Is Not Scaling
As @Jes Stafford suggests, the listed "scale" may not be correct if the drawing was printed to fit a smaller sheet.

Re: Markup Summary
@Shaya Birnbaum I think the (1) is a count BB adds to the list, not part of the "subject" like it could say Line (13) and then list thirteen line markups. Below is an example (different format) of (7) markups by "lshiras". Later there will be (29) markups by "Luke Shiras"
Re: Markup Summary
@Christopher Castro, You can achieve this by applying a filter during export. Assign the items marked with “(1)” to a specific column, then either uncheck that column during export, or exclude them during the filter and sort stage.
Hope this helps!
