Hi Bluebeam Community,
With the recent announcement about the upcoming retirement of Revu for iPad, we want to share more about where we’re headed with Bluebeam on mobile.
We’re not aiming to recreate Revu for iPad, and we’re also not trying to squeeze a full desktop experience into your hands. Instead, we’re focused on giving you reliable access to tools and information that matter most when you're working away from your desk—whether you're in the office, on the move, or out in the field.
Over the past two years, we’ve made it possible to place markups and join live Studio Sessions on both iOS and Android. In 2025, we’re building on that by ensuring you can access your files and keep working even without an internet connection. Whether you're underground, in a remote area, or just dealing with spotty service, the tools you rely on will be there.
We’re designing this new mobile experience around how construction teams actually work. That means quick access to project documents and tools, capturing information in the field—not just reviewing it—and reducing the need to redo work later at your desk.
What’s Coming in 2025 for Bluebeam iOS
- Access files stored on your device or in Studio
- Add markups with familiar tools
- Use Tool Sets synced from desktop
- Measure with precision using mobile-optimized tools
We know there’s still more to build. As we look toward 2026 and beyond, we’re continuing to improve how you access and capture information on the go. That includes better photo capture, smarter ways to handle markup data, and new ways to support fieldwork using your device’s built-in tools—like the camera, GPS, and voice input—to help you stay focused on the task at hand.
We’re excited to keep improving Bluebeam for mobile and supporting the way you work. We also appreciate the feedback and reviews you share through the Bluebeam Community—it helps us shape our priorities and make better decisions moving forward. Thanks for being part of the journey.
