  • General best practices (this method gave me trouble, so I do "x" instead, etc.)
  • Toolset creation best practices (minimizing file size, setting scale, maximizing scalability, preventing corrupted tool sets, etc.)
  • Using Sessions for collaboration (acknowledging mark-ups of others / confirming action taken, running mark-up reports, etc.)

  • I use the split-screen function for cross-discipline coordination, sometimes having my Revu window widened across several monitors, with two different drawings open per monitor. Is there a better way?
  • Estimating - could the power of OCR and the Tool Chest be combined such that Revu could search for items in a PDF that match a specific tool (like a "half-shaded triangle" telecom outlet) and apply that mark-up automatically at those locations? Could a Script do this? Could it go a step further by creating a Legend containing the applied tool descriptions and counts?
