I have a feature request that could save us a lot of manual data entry and rework during take-offs.
The Problem: Right now, if I need to measure different segments of a single item, I have to create multiple separate markups or stop to manually type the measurements into my Custom Columns. It’s tedious and breaks the workflow.
The Idea: It would be amazing to have a multi-length tool that automatically links specific measurements to Custom Columns within the same markup row.
For example, as I click through a drawing, the tool would automatically drop the lengths into columns I’ve set up—like "North Span" and "South Span"—all under one single markup.
Why it helps: For structural take-offs (like rebar or post-tension cables), this means no more manual typing. It would reduce transcription errors and make exporting to Excel so much faster. I’m sure estimators in other trades would love this too!
