Is there any way to sort a document by page size?

We are having an issue where our detailers are sending PDFs of blueprints and they will not be grouped by page size. Where this becomes an issue is when we go to print, we have (2) different printers we use. One large format and one smaller printer. Also, occasionally they get a page size wrong, (use 12x18 instead of 11x17) and it causes our printer to freak out. If we could group them, it would be easier to check all the various sizes. Is there a way to do this with scripts or anything?

If not, this should be a feature added asap. Bb knows the page sizes. It seems like it would be easy to add.

This seems like more of an internal QC issue than a software failure. You should approach the department head and inform them that their team is producing poor quality deliverables that are creating a burden on other departments.

We should hold people accountable for their work. Not expect a software company to add a feature that less than 1% of its user base will utilize.

The flip side of the situation is that as a project manager you should be reviewing drawings before blindly sending them to the plotter. It's part of the sweat equity that goes into understanding the project.

Yes, this would be a very useful feature.

Bluebeam already reads the page size under Page Setup / Thumbnails, so having an option to sort or group pages by sheet size would make a lot of sense.

For now, one workaround is:

Go to Thumbnails panel → check page sizes manually → use Page Label / Sheet Size naming → then split or print by range based on the sizes.

But I agree, this should be more automated.

Ideal feature:

“Group Pages by Size”

A0 / A1 / 11x17 / 12x18 / Letter, etc.

That would help before printing, especially when using both large format and small format printers. It would also catch wrong sizes like 12x18 instead of 11x17 before it causes printer issues.
