If there was a Contacts Panel, with Groups that functioned like Tool Sets, the things it could offer
The Contacts Panel would include: Management of Groups/Address Book (creation of saved directories); Group creation, GLOBAL group permissions that would apply if that group is invited to a session. These permissions could be changed within a session but if one was set in in the Contacts Panel, that would be the default upon invite. Groups would be managed similar to Tool Sets and could include a checkbox option at the btm of each Group "INCLUDE in all sessions" OR "Set as Default" Then in the initial "Create Sessions" window, the checkboxes at the btm regarding access could include a third, "Include Default Group"
Additionally Groups could then be saved and exported individually or as a dependency of a Profile.
Group creation windows need the improvements mentioned elsewhere, adding multiple emails at a time, importing a csv, etc. Many of us can't use the address book, so we need faster creation options.
Potential benefits: Company admins or select teams could always be included; @domain emails could have preset permissions AND If one person from that company was added to the session after it started there could be a default window "Do you want to apply the same permissions to D as A, B & C?"; Groups could be saved in a network location and made Read Only, ensuring only select individuals are editing; and…
Contacts panel could open the door for so many things, not the least of which is better management, faster.
